The Blue Jays, who play in the GAC in suburban St Louis and who's boy's team competes in the same
district as Waynesville, made the trip down I-44 for tonights match.

Despite the weather, there was a nice crowd out this evening for the annual derby between Catholic
and Kickapoo. Once again the Chief's tested their opponent early and it took a quality save by
Rachel Cook, pushing McKenna Adam's hard shot over the crossbar in the first 5 minutes, to keep
Kickapoo off the scoreboard.

Words can't do justice to the game played today by the Fightin' Irish. Coach Ben Timson called upon
17 players today and each brought their A game, consistently battling for 50/50 balls and making
the run to support their teammates.
