We made it back from the Siemens We Are Energy! Soccer Cup tournament in Germany. With 40 teams
from 26 different countries the event was truly a memorable experience. This event gave us a chance
to meet people from other Siemens companies.
The soccer cup was a great team building event for all of us as well as other teams.

I don't know about you, but the last couple weeks has been exhilarating, as well as exhausting.
I've been getting up around 7 a.m. most days (which I'm sure many of you consider embarrassingly
late) and have spent almost every morning and early afternoon watching World Cup. Truth be told,
I'm actually a little relieved that we are now beyond the 4:30 a.
Watching the World Cup has been like a part-time job for me, literally up to the point where I
actually appreciated the days off.
Hopefully that doesn't sound like I'm burnt out or anything but the reality is that I've spent
more time watching soccer in the past few weeks than I have spent watching almost any other one
thing in the past year.

Consequently, the Galaxy have made additional $40, $60 and $80 tickets available for the 7:30
p.m. game Saturday at the Rose Bowl.
BTW, another source of tickets is the secondary market. I received this press release from
StubHub:
This Saturday's LA Galaxy-Real Madrid game is the top-selling Los Angeles-metro event
of the week on StubHub.

Another nail-biter; another point for the Aztex. Despite a few handicaps, our Austin team put up
a heck of a fight, and didn't come up empty-handed for their trouble.
My two cents:
Standing in the east end of Starfire, in the area that was apparently deemed the beer garden, I
finally felt like I had my first "I was there when" moment.
I've attended probably eight games this season, checking out matches from vantage points all
over the stadium -- from the southeast corner flag to the Brougham End to the press box.
