With one former Boston College Eagle making a major impact on the US National Team, another
seems poised to get his first senior team call up in the next several months.
Alejandro Bedoya is now playing regularly in Sweden with Orebro SK, in the critical attacking
midfield role on the left side.

posting front today as we enjoyed the holiday with our families and friends, but I couldn't let the
day go by without at least some reading material.

Two players that have seemingly been discussed ad nausea by me on this website finally have been
called into the US National Team for the January camp. Alejandro Bedoya and Marcus Tracy are both
players that fit a serious need for the United States.
The sixteenth round mirrored the previous round as we saw eight rematches with the only difference
being a flip in home-field advantage. Another similarity was that top teams kept on winning and
bottom teams kept on losing. The effect of this is that the trend we noted at the end of the
previous round remains perfectly intact: Allsvenskan is becoming clearly separated into three
distinct segments consisting of five top, six middle and five bottom teams.

US Soccer will hold the now annual Team USA winter training camp next month for players currently
out of season.
This year it will run from Jan 4 to the game against Honduras on Jan 23, with the team training in
suburban Los Angeles at the Home Depot Center.
