The above video is from a couple weeks ago, when the LA Galaxy were at DC's RFK Stadium, but I just came across it. Galaxy forward Alan Gordon bet Davey Becks that he couldn't kick the ball through the press box window above the "I" in the "TRAFFIC" sign.

Our Galaxy (9-4-11) host FC Dallas (6-11-6) tonight at the Home Depot Center at 7:30 Pacific (FSN-PT and Direct Kick). The Galaxy is only 2 points out of first place in the Western Conference, while FC Dallas is in second to last place in the West. FC Dallas is all but certain to miss the playoffs with a minimum 10 point deficit to overcome for a wild card spot.

One week after giving up the most goals in team history, the Los Angeles Galaxy put together perhaps their most complete game of the season (though the Fire game at Toyota Park is in the running), shutting out a talented Toronto FC side to become only the fourth team in MLS history to record a shut-out immediately after giving up six goals.

Background: Diego Serna spent six years in MLS. When he first arrived here from Colombia, he did quite well and was even named to the 2001 MLS Best XI. But, his last few years were marred by injury and unproductive. In 2000, prior to the decline of his career, Serna did set one infamous MLS record though.
