If your interested,Toronto FC travels West to play Western leaders Real Salt lake. A team like
Toronto that have yet to loose a game at home. For Toronto this isn't good, they have been hurt by
the absences of Maurice Edu and Marvell Wyne who are on Olympic duty for the US in the upcoming
Beijing Olympics.
After such a tiring and emotionally draining match just three days earlier, I guess it was pretty
easy to see this coming. Especially once you saw the starting lineup. Gallardo, Martinez, and Wells
deserved the rest, so I won't complain about the lineup, especially since I don't think that
starting our true top XI would have even really made a big difference in this game.
We're back home again this weekend. This time it's to take on Real Salt Lake. Salt Lake is coming
in on a 5 game winning streak, including their first road win of the season, a 1-0 result at Chivas
USA. Other then that win, though, Salt Lake is 0-5 on the road. So here's to hoping that Salt Lake
returns to their regular road form against us tomorrow night.
Ok, first impression, really sucks to miss Olave. His one knock is that he's prone to yellow cards
and so getting suspended hurts. Horst didn't have a howler, but he was obviously outclassed by The
Mighty Hawaiian Forehead. Russell looked good, not as good as Wingert/Joy, but much better than
Beltran.
