When we saw this image of Mesut Ozil in training with new club Real Madrid a couple of weeks
ago, we have to confess that once the initial squeaking had died down in the Kickette office, we
were slightly bewildered.
As connoisseurs of footballing bodies, we are rarely exposed to tubby little torsos; something
like this being rather more our in comfort zone.
Following the 2-0 victory away to Bosnia, France football supporters are happy about a future
with Rami (4) and Mvila (17).
Their performances have rendered their subsequent selection a "No-Brainer."
This photo, which I think was actually from the Belarus loss, shows Mvila explaining his core

If there is a beast struggling to awake in the Cheltenham team then the electricity wasn't
turned-on until roundabout the 65 minute mark. It was no accident that it followed the arrival of
Junior Smirkle. On 69 minutes, with some quick moves involving J J Melligan on the right wing, a
cross by Jeffers and a great header by Wes Thomas, the job was done.
It isn't normally a worry if a player misses a few weeks through injury. However, when it is on
the back of a poor run of form in the World's biggest tournament and followed by a period of
keeping a low profile due to personal problems, it is maybe time to start fearing for Wayne
Rooney's career.
