While we all wait for MLS to either reach a labor deal or begin an ugly labor war, it's probably a
good time for our latest installment of Your Questions Answered. There just so happen to be a few
MLS labor-related questions in this first installment of the January Answers.
Fulham ended up losing 3 2, but Clint Dempsey's wonderstrike will still make this a memorable
game for most American soccer fans. I've pondered the idea that this is actually the best goal ever
scored by an American in a top soccer league. Some of you may point to John Harkes' goal against
Derby County, but I'm giving Clint extra points for hitting his shot on the volley.
Tonight's loss should be taken with a grain of salt. I doubt more then two or three of the
players we saw deployed by Bob Bradley tonight will be on the plane to South Africa. That said,
it's a little embarrassing to be trounced by Honduras on your home turf. Hopefully this will be a
wake up call for players like Benny Feilhaber and Jonathan Bornstein.
