The UEFA Champions League had a full set of group stage matches on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Real Madrid, AC Milan, Chelsea, and Manchester United were all in action on Tuesday. So, who win and what happened? Here's a recap of all the matches along with video highlights.

There were several draws on Tuesday as some of the favorites struggled.

The UEFA Champions League continues its group stage with some key matches on Tuesday, November 3, and Wednesday, November 4. Here's a list of predictions, previews, and USA/UK TV Listings for the upcoming matches.

The UEFA Champions League had several upsets and surprising results on Tuesday and Wednesday. FC Barcelona lost at home, AC Milan beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, and Liverpool lost 1-2 at home to Lyon. Many of the top teams lost or had to settle for draws. The exception was English Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester United.

The UEFA Champions League has complete three rounds of group stage matches or its half-way point. A few teams are very close to clinching a spot to the knockout stage while some clubs have a lot of work to do. Manchester United and Chelsea are both 3-0-0 and a win away from clinching their spots to the next round.

The UEFA Champions wrapped up the third set of group stage matches on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. The match of the night was Real Madrid v AC Milan. Other top teams in action were Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Manchester United. The UEFA Champions League had few upsets this week in group stages matches. The one exception was AC Milan losing FC Zurich. The 90th Minute's rankings are going to change where we will only rank the top 16 even though there are 32 in the group stage. Realistically, any team outside the top 16 is not a threat to win the title.

The last time Everton faced off against Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby, Liverpool came out victorious despite Tim Howard's valiant effort in goal.

The Toffees will be hoping for more of the same from Howard as they attempt to exact revenge against their rival in their final match-up of the season.

After their one year run in the German Bundesliga was ended a few weeks ago by an 8-1 defeat at the hands of visiting Bayern Munich, FC St. Pauli will return to the 2. All the top European leagues were in action on Saturday, October 31, 2009 including the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and Serie A. In Spain, Real Madrid won while FC Barcelona conceded a late own goal to get a draw. In England, Arsenal crushed Tottenham while Liverpool lost again.

Most of the top European leagues are more than a 1/3 into their 2009-10 season. In Spain, Barcelona is on top of the league table while Real Madrid are close behind. In France and Germany, the league tables are very close and no clear favorites so far. Inter Milan leads the Italian Serie A and are the favorites to repeat as champions.

It was another full weekend of matches in the top European leagues. Several of the top teams were in action on Saturday including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Rangers, and Celtic.

Below are my weekly power rankings for the top (8) clubs teams in UEFA. These rankings are a combination of their play in domestic and UEFA competitions.

The rankings haven't changed from the last (late January) as the top three remain the same.

Everything from the pregame at MacDinton's Irish pub, the exceptional tailgate, and the transportation to and from was spot on.

If there were any lingering questions about Jermaine Jones' health, he likely answered them on Saturday.

Jones scored his first goal in over a year, netting the winner in Schalke 04's pre-season match against Hamburg SV in the Liga total! Cup 2010 semifinal.
