Nine clubs will have more than one team vying for Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association State Championships this weekend at the USA Youth Soccer Complex in Appleton.

FC Milwaukee leads the way with five teams (three boys and two girls) set to play in Saturday's semifinals, while Bavarian SC had four boys teams earn spots in the final four in their respective divisions during group play over the Memorial Day weekend at USA Youth Soccer.

Two Bavarian SC boys teams got a firsthand look at soccer at the highest level last month.

The Under-13 and Under-14 teams were the first to travel to Germany as part of the Glendale club's new partnership with Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
