What a corker! POW! This goal deserves Batman-style captions! Pick that one out of the net. Early
goals (and very good goals) have been in abundance in these semi-finals.
Stuff to read while you enjoy some more non-computer generated football moves from Diego Buonnanote
& FalcaoD...... Good news: football is a perfect avenue for money laundering. (Reuters) Milan the
face of the economic downturn. (Inside Futbol) The match-fixing case in Russia is still making huge
waves.
This one requires a leap of the imagination... Thanks to Sam Waller for the first Shit Lookalikes
suggestion of the new Pies era. Great stuff Sam, though I think Hart looks more like Danny De
Vito's Penguin from Batman Returns....
Finally got some time to blog. Yeah, I know it's 45 minutes before game time, and I just barricaded
myself in the coaches room for a few minutes, but who cares? It's not like Nicol comes up with any
varying tactics. Let's see . . . pack the middle of the field, slow the game down, be physical and
score on a counter or two.
On an international break Tuesday, this qualifies as noteworthy all Austria's Paul Scharner has

Schteeve van der McClaren gets some more stick for his phoney Dutch accent and his
similarity to the Joker from Batman.

It's not a bug in the game's code, it's a bug in your moral code
Anyone who attempts to direct Batman using the "glide" button finds that the feature has been
disabled, causing the Caped Crusader to plunge to his death.
One gamer who got his hands on an early copy of the PC version, which is released this week,
reported the apparent bug in a hastily-typed post in the game's official forum, complaining that
Batman kept dying in a cloud of poisonous gas.
After a couple of weeks off to R&R and get this holiday madness under way, I am back on the

I thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup draw last week, and for once as a US supporter, I can finally
say, "Hey, at least we're not in that group over there."
And by "that group" I mean Group G, as in Golgotha.
Look out C.Ron and Wooney, there might just be another cool kid on the block... a cool kid who
unbelievably announced his arrival to the world last night! And what's more unbelievable is that
this kid is just that, a 17 year old who is already rubbing shoulders with some of the big boys in
the league!
Holy sour grapes Batman.
Though it wasn't really talking trash per se. It was more not giving credit to Sir Alex for winning
the Premiership.
Adamantly refusing to recognize Fergie.
"They are a big club and a good club. I normally show respect and be polite to other
managers at the end of the season.
Morning all,
as expected Arsene did a lot of talking yesterday and then told everyone to shut up. Kind of.
The final pre-game press conference of the season saw him quizzed about Real Madrid, Emmanuel
Adebayor, the shareholders meeting and more.
As expected he played the Madrid questions with a straight bat, never confirming or denying
anything but rightly saying nobody could question his commitment to Arsenal Football Club.
Holy Minority Report Batman...
A couple of pics from Celtic's friendly at Man City: Holy high-visibility jackets, Batman! That is
one standout kit. There's no danger of Celtic manager Tony Mowbray trotting out Fergie's old "the
players couldn't see each other" excuse. Turning to...
The matches to watch after you realize many of the matches have already been played. And that
Jimmy Bullard is about to be in a world of pain.
Saturday

Deportivo La Coruna v Barcelona at Estadio Riazor The home side are fifth in the table,
