College soccer is right around the corner and you can find the Division II Spartans full schedule
on their website. The Spartans are members of the Sunshine State Conference and were eliminated in
the NCAA Division II semifinals in 2008. So come out and support collegiate soccer this fall at UT.
The UT men (5-0-1) came out on top in their Sunshine State Conference debut over Barry University
(3-3-1) on Saturday in front of a crowd of 451. The 2-1 result preserved an unbeaten record for the
Spartans.
Freshman Brian Fekete scored his first career goal right before halftime in the forty-third minute
to give UT a 1-0 lead going into the break.

Franco Panizo of Soccer by Ives checked in today with a report from the USA training camp in Miami.
No mention of Jimmy, but he was there and took part of the full session. How would you like to be a
goalkeeper for Barry University and get a chance to train with the Nats?

The Spartans (4-0-1) open their Sunshine State Conference schedule tonight by entertaining Barry
(3-2-1). UT lost their number one ranking with a draw to West Florida in their last outing and will
be looking forward to starting their climb back to the top tonight.

St Leo (3-4-0) will head to St Petersburg this evening to face Sunshine State Conference rival
Eckerd College (4-3-0) and the Lions hope to snap a three game losing streak in the process. The
Tritons, however, are on a roll, with two straight wins under their belt; a road win against Barry
University and then a 5-0 thumping of Florida Southern at home.
