Jimmy Bullard, where do you start? On and off-field prankster, dead-ball specialist,
golden-locked Soccer AM favourite, the likable Eastender has won countless plaudits for his
care-free attitude to the game.
Due to his qualities as the in-house joker, his playing abilities have often been unnoticed.
Reports over the weekend linked former Boro favourite and now Peterborough forward George Boyd
with a £6m move to Tottenham. Boyd has been arguably the Posh's best player in their first season
in the Championship so far and his recent form is thought to have alerted Premier League clubs to
making an offer.
! Article Start >Big spenders. To be frank, Peterborough squad are the 'Poundland' of the
Championship. Promoted last year through the playoffs, some of the figures paid for Newcastle
United players in recent times would pay for the whole Peterborough squad. They even make
Scunthorpe look like Real Madrid.
According to reports Peterborough have sacked Darren Ferguson. We all know that managers jobs are
hardly safe these days but I think this could be one of the worst football sackings I've seen,

fall at the time.
Wishing Joe Kinnear all the best for his op today, a timely reminder that football management is
hard work 1. Joe Kinnear Hate to say I told you so, but this was my primary concern for Kinnear
when he took the Newcastle job in September. Kinnear suffered a heart attack during his time at
Wimbledon and later [.
We've linked up with a massive Birmingham blog, Joys & Sorrows. One of their readers off their
forum, Nat, wrote a great article in relation to today's game.
In recent times
At the moment, Spurs are enjoying their most productive period since the days of Terry Venables,
Lineker and Gazza.
The pressures of being a Premiership manager aren't a secret – the mood status of thousands of
fans resting on your shoulders, juggling the egos of 30 prima donas, probing journalists, and
managing the bank balances of multi-million pound businesses can be a testing existence.
But is it also bad for your health?

informative to return to it as a Nineties period piece - a time capsule shedding light on the
wheeler-dealing of that decade and before.
