Barnsley have signed 23-year-old Spanish midfielder Diego Leon from Switzerland's Grasshoppers,
according to the Zurich club's website. Leon joins the South Yorkshire side "effective
immediately," the site reports. A one-time product of Real Madrid's youth system, he played for
Arminia Bielefeld in Germany before signing with the Swiss club at the start of last season.
