Bayer Leverkusen have revealed that their Swiss midfielder is attracting the interest of a number
of clubs- including Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta is
seemingly a wanted man. The Werkself have made it known that a number of top European clubs are
keeping tabs on their midfield star.
Swiss defender Tranquillo Barnetta has been linked with a possible move to Arsenal but according
to his representative, Franco Moretti, no official approach was made by the club.
Speaking to Sport.co.uk, Moretti said:
Up until now nobody has asked about Tranquillo from England, there has been no interest from
English clubs.
Potential Arsenal target Tranquillo Barnetta is strongly being linked with the Gunners' after
asking to leave Bayer Leverkusen. The 24-year-old versatile winger, who has made 27 appearances for
Switzerland, scoring 6 times - has previously been touted to join Arsenal with the former St.
