We're just going to cut right to the chase here (get it?) We love Frankie, we love Frankie's new
shorter hair, and we love Frankie's outfit. There's just something fab about a lady who can pull
off a cropped barnet and still look über sex-ay. We're sure Mr. Bridge agrees.
Tottenham's Premier League match with Everton on Saturday has been postponed because of the
riots in London.
Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said he was "positive" the other nine games in
the opening round of top-flight fixtures would go ahead. And prime minister David Cameron suggested
they could kick off earlier than scheduled to assist the police.

If there's one thing we can take from International friendlies, it's the opportunity to become
acquainted with some hot new faces that we may otherwise not notice. Thank you, FIFA.

Forgive us for not commenting on The Special One's hair situ until now. We were doing other
important things like rearranging the furniture at HQ and discussing our favorite new pedicure

It will come as no surprise that the words ‘simply' and ‘astonishing' were used by several
different contributors independently of one another in reference to Paul Lambert's stewardship at
Carrow Road. It's a kind of rags to riches story that's been done to death, of course. Indeed, in
trying to sum the past two years, which have seen Lambert pick Norwich up by the scruff and
build a mentally
Admittedly I was a bit slow to publish this...so with the added benefit of one performance,
here's the League Two preview!
Who's Looking Good?
Crawley Town: Most bookies favourites, Crawley have the biggest budget in the
league, momentum to die for, and probably the deadliest striker in the division in Matt Tubbs.
Song's noteworthy barnet Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has ditched his distinctive blonde afro to

does seem to be doing the job so [.

I know it's hardly a new look for Senor Palacio but the fact that he's now shaved the rest of
his noggin to fully emphasise that horrendous, erroneous braided 'Jedi bog chain' of hair means his
barnet is up for reassessment and yep it's still rubbish.
Gillingham 1-0 Boro (Akinfenwa 38)
Match Report | BBC Report
It may be a new year, but it was the same, old story for Boro. Adebayo Akinfenwa's first half
header was enough to give the Gills their 5th victory in a row, whilst extending our winless run
in the league to 5.
I've just got enough time to get a quick preview done before I head off to the ground. Barnet
are the visitors to Broadhall Way today, just over 2 months ago since we beat them 3-0 at
Underhill. A lot has changed since that Tuesday night in early November. We haven't won a game in
the league since, whilst Barnet have now parted company with former Boro boss Mark Stimson.

Highlights | BBC Report | Westley Interview
It's been a long time in coming, but Stevenage finally got back to winning ways yesterday
afternoon after comfortably beating Barnet 4-2 at Broadhall Way.

League Two 2010/2011: The Story So Far Goals, goals galore is a post from: Just Football
With nearly half the campaign gone in English football's fourth tier, League
Two, we welcome a new contributor to Just Football. Simon Godfrey is here
to take us through the season so far.
Robb Heineman continues to give us an inside look at some players that are in camp on trial as
preseason kicks off. Yesterday he told us about trialist Julio Cesar Santos, and today he gave us
four more names. Two have already been mentioned, the two Trinidad players, Daneil Cyrus and
Sheldon Bateau, both defenders.
A stalwart of the anti-apartheid sport boycott movement, Isiah Stein, has passed away in the UK.
After serving time in prison with Nelson Mandela in the mid-1960s, Stein left South Africa for
Britain where he worked tirelessly with the exiled South African Non-Racial Olympic Committee
(SANROC).
Gresty Road: The home of Crewe Alexandra
It's another away day for Boro tomorrow afternoon as they travel up the M6 to face Dario Gradi's
Crewe Alexandra. On paper, it looks like it could be another tough game for Graham Westley's side.
Boro have not won a game in their last 6 and on top of that, they have failed to score in the last
3.
I wasn't there. Not because I was too upset by last week's debacle and was boycotting Whaddon Road
but due to other commitments. I would have been there otherwise. I would also have been furious
that they gave away a late goal. They need to kill off a game, even if they're only sitting on a
one goal lead.
So from Barca to Leyton Orient...
It would be a massive shock if we started with anything like a full strength team today, and
whilst Orient are not world-beaters, the game will be a massive one for a few members of the squad;
in particular Marouane Chamakh, Tomas Rosicky and Sebastian Squillaci.

Financial instability continues to see David beat Goliath in Lower leagues is a post from: Just
Football
As has been well documented in recent years there are a whole host of league clubs who are
seemingly operating on borrowed time due to season upon season of poor financial
management.

There was good news for Spurs fans as Tom Huddlestone came through eighty minutes of action at
the Lodge yesterday as a Tottenham XI beat Barnet by two goals to one.
The game was also notable for the return of mystery man John Bostock and it was Spurs who opened
the scoring on five minutes with a penalty from Kudus Oyenuga.
Every time I see this Disneyland advert I can't help but think of Jack Wilshere.
About 12 seconds into the clip there is a little kid dancing about on the bed wearing blue and
white checkered pyjamas.
My girlfriend can't see it but for some reason he really reminds me of Jacky boy!
The year 2011 is set up to be a big one in women's football. The UEFA Women's Champions League
Final will be held at Craven Cottage on May 26. The FIFA Women's World Cup will be held in Germany
and begins on June 26. Last, but not least, the new FA Women's Super League is being launched today
and our very own Arsenal Ladies team will be involved in the opening game.

The Championship promotion race looks set to run beyond this weekend and with that same league's
relegation places all but sewn up, it seems like an idea to return to League One. That's not to say
that Accrington Vs Barnet a further division down doesn't have its appeal, but the likes of
Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Notts County and Tranmere have all featured in this column over recent
weeks, and for

season. Danny Brothers from the 'A load of Cobblers' site has answered some questions ahead of the
game. Take a look.
Relegation into the Conference looks a real possibility, especially as Barnet have hit
some form.

The final day of the Football League season inevitably brings shredded nerves, and yesterday
brought an unfolding drama with a hint of familiarity to it at the bottom of League Two, with
Lincoln City and Barnet playing to avoid relegation into the Football Conference. Lincoln started
the day two points ahead of Barnet, but with an inferior goal difference.

In the end, it didn't matter what happened at Broadhall Way yesterday afternoon because
Chesterfield secured the League 2 title by beating Gillingham, therefore confirming that the
minimum position we would achieve would be 7th. With Torquay also losing in South Yorkshire against
Rotherham, Boro's point was enough to earn them 6th position and a playoff tie with Accrington
Stanley with the hope of progressing onto Old Trafford and ultimately League 1.

Football seems to have a funny way of making sure justice is done in the end. 15 years after
Torquay survived in the Football League at the expense of Stevenage, justice was served yesterday
when Boro beat the Gulls to win promotion to the 3rd tier in English Football.
After yet another successful season at Broadhall Way, here are FC Boro's End of Season awards.
It was a much easier season than last to pick the winners. Take a look and comment below.

Winner: John Ashton
There was only ever 1 clear winner this season.
Untold Arsenal on Twitter @UntoldArsenal By Gordon Haverland, P.Eng. Some of us Arsenal fans have
noticed that Arsenal is using GPS vests in the friendlies this summer (and at least once at Barnet
last year). We may have personal GPS, or GPS built into our cars. How does this help Arsenal?
Can this [.
Over 1500 people were at Underhill to see Barnet host the Spurs XI for Lee Harrison's
testimonial. Most of that number were Bees fans but there were still little pockets of Spurs fans
dotted around the ground.
The majority of Spurs fans were there hoping to get a close look at our two young signings,
Soulemayne Coulibaly and Christian Ceballos.

Perhaps someone in Thailand could let us know how many stadiums TOT have used in recent seasons?
They have ground shared with Muang Thong United, which is like having Barnet share with the
Arsenal. They also played in Kanchanaburi which would be like Barnet playing in the Cheddar
Gorge.
Anyway they're back at their own stadium now and this weekend they host Chonburi.
It's been a while since we have felt the need to critique Cristiano's sartorial elegance. But
we're guessing he's been so busy with his bubba and Irina over the summer break that he simply
hasn't had time to offend us with his trouser/shoe combos.
However, training has a now recommenced and a whole season of fashion fails awaits us.
