Barnet FC: Recycling London's Talent is a post from: Just Football
On Saturday Barnet lost 2-1 to Oxford United in one of the two League
Two games to survive the weather.
The result leaves them without an away win in any competition this season, and only Hereford
United stand between them and the bottom of the Football League.
It feels like a long time since I've updated this place. The lack of matches and news has
meant that there has been nothing to write about. As the Port Vale game was called off last
weekend, the only talking point over the past fortnight has been our forthcoming 3rd round tie
with Newcastle United in the FA Cup.
What division are you in?Football's just a branch of science, no? Well, after meeting our good friend Dave this morning in a
pub in Manchester, yes
that Dave, we decided to draw up the definitive EFW divisional
ready reckoner. Admittedly, everyone involved in this experiment had indulged in a few lunchtime
range finders - to a backdrop of tunes by the Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Happy Mondays and The
Smiths et al, but hey, worse things happen at sea, don't they?
