Ms Barnes was not heard from since a devastating earthquake hit the island more than two weeks ago.
Around 200,000 people died. Relatives feared the United Nations worker was buried with colleagues
in the rubble of the UN's headquarters in the Haiti capital of Port-au-Prince.
