Antonio Cassano continua a regalare spettacolo, gol e fantastiche emozioni, gara ufficiale o amichevole che sia. E' sicuramente uno dei giocatori più forti della nostra Serie A di Calcio. Fantasia, tecnica, giocate da brividi, con quella maglia blucerchiata addosso che gli calza ormai a pennello.
E' sempre più un leader nel gruppo doriano e con i suoi gol e le sue magie sta facendo felice il presidente Garrone e i tanti tifosi della squadra ligure.

Di solito è sempre stato abbastanza riservato e taciturno. Non che gli sia mai mancato il carattere, che da buon friulano ha sempre avuto, ma Dino Zoff, portiere dell'Italia campione del mondo nel 1982, ex allenatore di Lazio, Juventus, tra le principali e più importanti ("un pezzo della mia vita") esperienze vissute nella Serie A di Calcio, questa volta è uscito dai ranghi e ha parlato di molte questioni, esaltando Diego ("è più forte di Zico") compresa quella che sta a cuore a molti italiani, la convocazione in nazionale di Antonio Cassano, autore di prestazioni divine nella Serie A con la maglia blucerchiata.

After 3 giornate, only 3 clubs are still at full points: Sampdoria, who defeated Atalanta 1-0 in Bergamo with a goal from Daniele Mannini; Juventus, who saw Lazio off with a 2-0 win thanks to Martin Caceres and David Trezeguet; and Genoa, who thumped Napoli 4-1 with Sergio Floccari, Giandomenico Mesto, Hernan Crespo, and Houssine Kharja all scoring their first goals of the season.

Milan vs. Inter

Could the Derby della Madonnina, the first big derby of the 09-10 season in any European league, live up to the hype? Inter came into the game favorites to win the scudetto after mostly adding to the squad that has won the Serie A four years running. AC Milan did not add much in the offseason, and suffered the huge losses of Carlo Ancelotti, Paolo Maldini and Kaka.

It was a weekend of some nice goals. First, let's just say that Fabio Quagliarella ALMOST scored the goal of the season (he did however score 2 goals on the night). You can watch that video here. Diego scored his first goals in Serie A, Julio Cruz scored his first goals for Lazio, Alberto Paloschi continues to look more and more like the new Pippo Inzaghi, Giampaolo Pazzini continues to score, and Antonio Cassano worked some magic again.

In attesa che riprenda il calcio che conta, possiamo rendervi noto l'elenco degli squalificati della Serie A di Calcio, dopo la seconda giornata di campionato. Ancora pochi i calciatori appiedati dal giudice sportivo, ma gi qualche nome altisonante. Come quello di "Ringhio" Gattuso, che è stato fermato per un turno, a causa del rosso rimediato, in maniera abbastanza ingenua, nel derby (4 gol a zero per l'Inter, ndr).

Some nice goals this week. We're still very early into the season, but two possible goal of the year candidates were scored this weekend. Samuel Eto'o's strike vs. Parma and Giandomenico Mesto's screamer vs. Napoli are joys to behold. Goals of the week after the jump.

After reports that Ronaldinho may be retiring, Milan needed a convincing victory against Bologna while Juventus and Inter wished to continue their good starts to the season.

Promoted side Associazione Sportivo Bari are not too attractive. But you could have said that about Hull, or Stoke, for that matter. In each case, the Premiership club became more attractive with exposure both their own and ours to them.

La pesante sconfitta per 4 gol a 1, rimediata dalla squadra bergamasca al San Nicola contro lo scatenato Bari di Ventura, nella quarta giornata della Serie A di Calcio, ha fatto traboccare il vaso. Per risollevare le sorti della squadra (unica nella Serie A ad aver rimediato tutti ko fino a questo momento), la societ ha deciso di optare, senza perdere ulteriore tempo, per il cambio tecnico.

Gianluigi Buffon is the key for a Juve scudetto: Although he has some mileage between his numerous Serie A and international matches, and the Juventus attack is quite good, the 2-0 Juventus win over Livorno shows that Buffon still dominates matches for his team.

Kolarov non l'ha passata liscia. L'espulsione rimediata durante il match dell'Olimpico, tra i biancocelesti e il Parma (incontro poi perso per un gol a due), per reiterate proteste nei confronti del direttore di gara, gli è costata ben due giornate. E' lui, dunque, il "cattivone" della settimana in Serie A.

It's a Bad Month to Be a Milan Fan: Not only is rival Inter atop the Serie A standings, Milan lost yesterday to Udinese for its second defeat on the year.

Sampdoria are top of the table alone for the first time in 18 years. A week ago I wrote an article saying that Sampdoria could be the surprise of the season, and right now that hypothesis is still holding up. While it's almost impossible for them to win the scudetto and considering the fact that Gigi Del Neri's teams usually suffer a drop in form after the winter break, they should be challenging for a spot in Europe next season, whether that be Europa League or Champions League that remains to be seen.
