The transfer rumours over a new Spurs striker continue to hot up and as Leandro Damiao's stock
continues to rise, so does his alleged transfer fee. With figures of around £15m quoted back in
the summer, some stories have emerged suggesting that Internacional will be looking for a figure
nearer to £40m when the Brazilian season comes to an end.
Spurs look set to lose one Brazilian from their squad in January but the question is, how many
if any will be coming the other way.
Harry Redknapp had already stated that Heurelho Gomes would be looking for a new club ahead of
the new season in Brazil – comments that he has underlined today.
