Seven MLS sides stumbled on Tuesday in the third round of the 2012 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Some were shocking, others were surprising and a couple were kind of expected.

New England, LA, Chicago, Columbus, FC Dallas, Houston and Real Salt Lake all fell on Tuesday making this year's third round one of the more exciting rounds in USOC history.

What an excellent day of football we all had yesterday, starting with the controversial Manchester United, Liverpool match at Old Trafford , and a result that went our way with Liverpool losing 2-1.

I am not so sure about all the Suarez, Evra hype though as it is obvious that there is bad blood between the two of them, but to the credit of Evra he was willing to shake Suarez's hand before the match, but Suarez refused.

The Dayton Dutch Lions failed to pick up their first win of the season in two tries this weekend, but they did manage to put an end to the last impeccable record in the league.

The Dutch Lions ended the Rochester Rhinos' perfect start to the season and their six-match shutout run by grabbing a 1-1 draw at Sahlen Stadium on Friday.
