It's been a few weeks since my last post, but I thought now would be a good time to see what has
become of my Barclays fantasy premier league team.
As you can see from the earlier post, only Silva has been able to keep his spot in the team, all
the other players have been forced to give their places to more suitable fantasy football players.

As a player, you have respect for Barcelona but you never have fear. You have to plan for a good
game against them and to try to cause them problems. So no, we do not have any fear of Manchester
City, especially because we're playing at home in this match but we do have the ultimate respect
for them because they're the league leaders.

20,000 Premier League Goals: An Infographic Breakdown
With the Premier League hovering around 20,000 league goals in its history, Barclays created an
infographic to display some of the major trends of goalscoring since the league's inception in
1992.
Brighton & Hove Albion starlet Shamir Goodwin has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool.
The 17-year-old striker has come to the attention of the Barclays Premier League outfit after some
fine form for the Seagulls youth team, according to The Daily Star, with the Reds now reportedly
considering a move for the player.
Former Anfield star John Barnes says Aston Villa striker Darren Bent does not fit the bill for
Liverpool, as the Reds consider goalscoring reinforcements in January.
The Merseysiders have scored only 18 times in as many Barclays Premier League fixtures this season
and, with Luis Suarez set to begin an eight-game ban in the New Year, Kenny Dalglish has been
tipped to bolster his attack.

Jamie Carragher returned to his old school to donate a footy kit on Friday.
The 33-year-old visited All Saints Primary in Bootle as part of an initiative launched by the
Barclays Premier League and the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) to boost the sport at
grassroots level.
All 20 top flight teams have donated £25,000 to create a £500,000 fund to provide schools and
clubs with free kit and equipment.
Fulham striker Clint Dempsey struck a late winner as Liverpool's outstanding form on the road ended
during a controversial evening at Craven Cottage.
Dempsey stabbed home a long-range 85th-minute shot by Danny Murphy that had bounced off the arms of
