Manchester United striker Rooney scowls, Arsenal ace Walcott tries to keep up, Barcelona's Xavi
and Real Madrid's Benzema look effortlessly cool.
Great ad this, really makes me want to go out and get myself a copy, but secretly hoping I will
be sent a free one (Wishful thinking)
After covering the Barcelona versus Real Madrid topic, it is only logical if Lionel Messi and
Cristiano Ronaldo were discussed due to their pivotal role in both teams. The two wingers are
currently playing for two of the best clubs in Spain and two of the most popular outfits in the
world.
Would Mark Hughes be tempted by such a deal?
Barcelona will seek to persuade Manchester City into selling them Robinho in the January
transfer window by offering Thierry Henry in exchange, according to a report.
The Catalan club saw an enquiry for the Brazilian over the summer rebuffed after the Premier
League side stated that a deal could only be done if Lionel Messi was included.
According to La Tribune de Lyon, Barcelona the club Michel Platini thinks about when he
touches himself at night have swooped in and taken a seven-year-old named Kais (not pictured above)
who was already signed by Lyon (seriously, I'm pretty sure he signed by drawing a green blob that
he then claimed was a dinosaur).

I'm sure many of you are very excited for this week's CONCACAF Champions League matches. I know
that I am particularly geeked about seeing how Columbus fares at Saprissa Stadium and I'm hoping
that Houston's trip to Pachuca is as wild as their last. But those games aren't until tomorrow
night --although D.
There was big movement in the rankings this week as both England and Argentina reached a point
in their schedules from which last season's numbers have been discarded. This hurts Arsenal,
primarily, though we expect to see them return to the rankings before too long. Currently, only
three of the top ten domestic leagues in the world have yet to play enough matches to have last
season's statistics drop off: Portugal, Italy and Spain.
.Arsenal Transfered In: Thomas Vermaelen (Ajax, £11m), Damian Martinez (Club Athletico
Independiente, £1.3m), Jamie Edge (Cheltenham, undisc) Transfered Out: Abu Ogogo (Dag & Red,

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other video clips of the *many* Eboue dives from the past, so
I've had to include this one, which is probably the least outrageous of the lot.
Online Surveys & Market Research
Now, if only i could find video footage of Eboue's dive against Barcelona.
We're not there yet, but we are getting closer. The Bundesliga, Eredivisie and Ligue Un all
reached the point in the season where last season's results have dropped out of the calculations
for the WCR Top 25. For clubs from England, Spain, Italy and Portugal, results for last season
still count because all clubs in each of those domestic leagues have yet to play five matches, but
we are getting close.

Por supuesto que si, debemos de ver el fútbol de la mejor calidad y este 2009 y 2010 habrá mucho
fútbol internacional.
As the transfer deadline drew to a close it seems French Side Monaco may have stolen the show
with the move of the summer. While the big money moved the likes of Robben, CR7 and Kaka, it was
the shock signing of Icelander Eidur Gudjohnsen for a measly amount of 2M Euros that may turn out
to be the biggest return on investment
Yes 2M Euros, it's not a lot of money for a player of this pedigree.
He leído la mejor reseña y análisis del Argentina vs Brasil, de lado
argentino. Una genialidad de redacción, orden de ideas, pero
sobre todo de lucidez futbolística y un sentido crítico
necesario cuando las cosas no van.
Robinho... The man who says he is interested "in projects". The man who says "I want a challenge".
The man who said "What do you mean Man City are not the same team as that Red United side" He is
about to well and truly "mug off" all his faithful Cityboy fans after admitting in quite some [...]
Frank Rijkaard has enjoyed an absolutely brilliant start with Galatasaray. The team has NOT lost
one single game since he has been appointed. Won all the 6 games in the Super League and qualified
to the group stage in UEFA Europa league. Along with his assistant, Johan Neeskens, he has probably
created the best coaching staff in club's history.
Theirry Henry and Allen Iverson, now sadly carrying on his basketball career with the Memphis
Grizzlies, were brought together in Barcelona by their shared sponsor Reebok for...I don't know
some kind of cross-promotional brand synergy thing (or maybe corporate hypnosis and introduction to
cannibalism?
One of the great heartbreaks of my soccer-watching life was watching Argentina lose against Germany
in the quarter finals of the 2006 World Cup. But I knew that with so many great players in the
squad--Messi, Riquelme, Crespo, Aimar, Cambiasso, Coloccini, Tevez, Mascherano, Zanetti, Milito,
Heinze, and others--that they'd arrive in South Africa ready to make things right.

"Concordo que ele não seja um bom treinador, mas discordo quando o SPORT centraliza o mau futebol
que Messi apresenta na seleção na figura de Maradona. Diego vai mal, toma decisões equivocadas e
tudo mais. Mas não é só isso. O Barcelona é muito mais time que a Argentina, coletiva e
individualmente.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently had a day out in Barcelona with his son, Maxmillion.

What?
Thomas Bendtner, the agent and father of Arsenal striker Nicklas, has claimed his son
turned down the chance to move to several clubs this summer to remain in north London.
The Dane signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners this week, securing his future at the
Emirates Stadium.
OK, all the hardwork has been completed and the players are rested, refreshed and raring to
go.
Tonight we entertain a fellow NCAA Division III team from Rhode Island.
We have completed our final preparations albeit hampered a little bit with the fires here in
Southern California.
The players got to sleep in a bit this morning and then we had a team meeting at 9.
The Sun today has an 'exclusive' which claims Rio Ferdinand is thinking about a move to
Barcelona or Real Madrid.
"Rio can see the sense of it," said 'a source'. "Not only would it be a fresh
challenge as he nears the end of his career, it would also fit all his projects off the
pitch.

In a complete interview published by Goal.com, Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas spoke about the
Gunners' start to the season, the never-ending cheap transfer rumours and his future with the North
London club.
On the 2-1 narrow defeat against Manchester United, the captain said:
It hurts to lose in that way, but we were denied many opportunities and it was a very physical
game maybe too physical but we showed that we will not be bullied by anybody.
"It's not easy to say no to a club like Barcelona. They are European champions, they're
in a lovely city and I like Spain a lot. I have always wanted to play at clubs like Barcelona. It's
a great club, any player would be happy for them to show an interest. I'm happy that Barcelona have
taken notice of me.
One of the first posts I ever made was about how official gear from the stores in the USA is
just awful. There's not really any selection and it looks like the merch that is sent here are only
the things that wouldn't sell in the UK. As excited as I am about piggy banks and slippers, I would
really appreciate it if someone would throw us a t-shirt that looked cool.
Centre Back names Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan frontmen as the best but how could he
omit the Fulham man?
Nemanja Vidic has named the three strikers that he believes are currently the best in
the world and has chosen one from England, Spain and Italy.
The Serbian defender does not relish playing against Liverpool's Fernando Torres in the league
and would see the task of marking Samuel Eto'o or Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a tough one.
Emmanuel Adebayor evokes some interesting emotions wherever he goes. From his goal-scoring
exploits for Arsenal to back-to-back interviews where he pledged allegiance to Arsenal before
flirting with Barcelona, to his quite obvious Milan fantasy to his bumper contract at Arsenal to a
move to Manchester the next summer, Adebayor had already entertained and infuriated Arsenal
fans.

Success in football is a funny old thing. Take Barcelona's treble winning formula last season as an
example. With a blend of swift, attacking play, combined with staunch, organised defending, the
Catalan giants managed to outperform the majority of the top European sides. The basis for Barca's
success was the quality and imagination of the [.

European champions Barcelona had an extra special day yesterday. Not only did they kick off the La
Liga season at the Camp Nou with a 3-0 win over Sporting Gijon, but they signed defensive superstud
Dmytro Chygrynskiy from Shakhtar for a cool €25m to pair with Puyol for the hairiest defensive
partnership ever.
Michael Essien is blogging for Chelsea's official site, writing one post per month throughout
the season (combining the brevity of a blog with the untimely circulation of a magazine!). Even
though his new post is just his second effort, he's already tapped into an ability that few
bloggers can achieve.
France continue to make hard work of their qualifying group and find themselves in the likely
position of having to pass a play-off test to make it to South Africa 2010. Barcelona man Thierry
Henry put the home side ahead only for Sevilla defender Julien Escude to score an own goal soon
afterwards to level the game.
He's Going nowhere!
Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand has been linked with a move to
Barcelona or Real Madrid as he looks to life after football.
The Sun claimed that a source close to the player said: "Rio can see the sense of it.
"Not only would it be a fresh challenge as he nears the end of his career but it would also fit all
his projects off the pitch.
Could the samba star be set for a La Liga return?
Robinho has left the door open for a possible move from Manchester City during the
winter transfer window after admitting he is "happy" at interest shown by Barcelona and insisting
that it is "not easy to say no" to the European champions.
Woe is me!
Alex Hleb claims that his move to Stuttgart from Barcelona is a backward step in his
career.
The Belarus international has joined the Bundesliga side on a season-long loan after struggling
to break into the first team at the Spanish club during his debut season in La Liga.
