Atletico have not won at the Bernabeu in 10 years. The last time October 30th, 1999 when Jimmy
Floyd Hasselbaink with his brace and Jose Mari won a now historic victory. Sergio Aguero was 11
years old.
Hasselbaink was virtually unstoppable and so was Joan Capdevila, now at Villareal.

Well; in the press anyway. What he can say he will say and for the most part we're going to be
looking worse for it. However, the way that Darren played in our system was all well and good; but
lacked a certain 101 cutting edge that we now have with our striking collective.

I have to say maybe I was slightly harsh on the boys after the Atletico game the other night as we
are sitting pretty at the top of our group with two games to play. Let's face it there are a number
of big european sides that are all but comfortable at the moment and will be giving their all to
make sure of qualification for the last 16.

At least Barca drew with Rubin Kazan this time, but in no way did they impress. Something
about Champion's League play has the boys from the shore playing snake-bitten...and I think I know
what it is.

Take a look at the crew from Barcelona and answer me one question. Even though they are the
reigning European Champions (and have a huge bullseye on their backs)Â do you think they kind of
expect to be in the Final 16?

Champions League View: Bayern Munich and Liverpool FC could get 10 points and still not
qualify.
An entertaining set of Champions League games threw up some unexpected results, great games and

difficult for themselves.

Another round. Games working out as predicted except for Man U 3 3 CSKA Moscow which I really
thought would go to Manchester. And of course Barcelona's inability to beat Kazan but they were not
playing at home (if that even serves as an excuse!). The big derby AC Milan vs. Real Madrid turned
out quite well even with teh 1-1 tie (and I see a light in the dark for Ronaldinho there is
hope).

El exitismo, la falta de apoyo en cada proyecto, el incremento fÃsico de los jugadores, hacen
