2014 Word Cup qualifying started off well for Tinidad and Tobago, with a 1-0 win over Bermuda
beginning the process.
Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel started Trinidad's victory off on the bench, but was
substituted into the game in the 36th minute of the game. Daniel replaced Khaleem Hyland well
before the start of half time for reasons beyond a tactical change.
Trinidad and Tobago plays Barbados today at 4 pm and Keon Daniel may make his first start for
the country as a member of the Philadelphia Union.
Daniel and Trinidad pulled out a close 1-0 win over Bermuda on a Kenwyne Jones goal in the 44th
minute. Tobago was expected to pull well away from Barbados, but those expectations were not
met.
Keon Daniel's 20th minute goal helped Trinidad and Tobago beat Barbados in the second round of
2014 World Cup qualifying. Daniel made his first start for the country in qualifying, after
impressing in 54 minutes of Trinidad's 1-0 win over Bermuda last week.
Playing all 90 minutes, Daniel was a thorn in Barbados' side all game, pumping threatening
corners into the box and on multiple occasions nearly combining with star striker Kenwyne Jones
around the 18.

PSP's preview of Saturday's Philadelphia Union v Portland Timbers also contained the news that
Keon Daniel would be unavailable for that game.
The PSP has since learned that Daniel's unavailability stems from problems with the US
Immigration Service.
Philly Soccer Page and Philly.com are reporting that Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel
is unavailable for Saturday's game against the Portland Timbers due to visa issues.
Daniel's situation was originally reported on by Philly Soccer Page, who tweeted the information

Earlier in the week, Keon Daniel started for Trinidad and Tobago in a World Cup Qualifier
against Barbados.
The 25-year-old midfielder went on to score the first goal of the game, which ended up being
good enough to be the game winner.
According to a report out of Trinidad and Tobago, Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel has
not been able to re-enter the USA since playing for the country's national team against Bermuda and
Barbados.

Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel has once again been called up for Trinidad and
Tobago's 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Trinidad head coach Otto Pfister named Daniel as part of a preliminary group of sixteen players
that will train in the country Monday and Tuesday of next week.
