Paris St. Germain player Claude Makelele is over.
Noemie made our website a much prettier place, and we can't bear the thought of not having her
around anymore.
So what happened?
Morning Insiders, another fine day springs into life which is more than can be said for activity
on the transfer market with Arsenal FC – I think the words "bugger all" come to mind.
While FTK takes a well deserved break sunning himself on a beach in Barbados I thought I would
take a few lines to thank all our readers and contributors over the last season.
Well done to several of our readers, who correctly picked up that the leader in minutes played in
the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying cycle for the U.S. is none other than DaMarcus Beasley. In our
informal survey, it took most people at least five attempts to get it right!
Beas has made 10 appearances out of 11 total matches thus far, including nine starts.

round.] In the second round the World Cup qualifiers started for everyone else in the
confederation. For the Big Two (USA and Mexico), the second round is never going to be very
stressing. At least, it shouldn't be very stressing.
