The midweek Copa del Rey match went far better for Valencia than it did for a few of the other
top leaguers this week. Though not spectacular the single away goal by Joaquin has placed Valencia
firmly in the drivers seat for the upcomming home game.
Joaquin scored a a gorgeous little chip shot to gain the winning goal in the 10th minute of
play.

So the stars have aligned and the weekend thus far has worked out beautifully for los Che to
move up int he table.
A win in Almeria and we move up to 5th place and within striking distance of the top 4.
These are a vital 3 points.
Now Valencia, truth be told should win this.

have to say that i am getting quite a kick out of these matches. Why? Well several reasons.

Does anyone else think that Amsterdam is an odd choice for a summer training camp for some
wealthy 20 somethings? No just me. Oh well maybe its a touch of jealousy.
Of course i'm talking about our beloved Valencia CF arriving at their training camp in Amsterdam.
The lads arrived today and already have a heavy training schedule for tomorro.
