Katy Perry hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin last night and wore the above claret and
blue ensemble for part of the show on a dare from boyfriend, fellow MTV host, and West Ham faithful
Russell Brand (see him sing "We All Follow The West Ham" on Jimmy Fallon four minutes into this

Nice bit of stimulus. 65,000 and 100,000 total new jobs would be created in the various host
cities during the preparation and operation of the tournament in the year of the event. If the USA
does get awarded the 2018 or 2022 World Cup, one of the goal will be to generate immediate tangible
effects.

In financial markets, as in sex, humour and volleying a ball home from just outside the area,
timing is everything.
The superslick who are way ahead of the curve self-compress their future profits through their
inability to appropriately time market entries and exits.
The bewildered who are reactive to the curve simply exist to provide the rest of us with our future
cash.

Having just discovered that Barack Obama is no longer a fan of West Ham from the Mail (don't
worry I read it to take the piss) and is now a fan of Al Wasl's (maybe to align himself with
dealers of Oil, yes ITS is getting political), I thought I would do an A-Listers top 10 this week.
Enjoy!

Talk of a bunch of self entitled players. This team will not get a "major trophy", or even a
self titled piddling little one. For the second match in a row, Arsenal decided to "wing" it.
Wenger's memos of bravado do not seem to be filtering down to the players. At the very least,
one would expect some positive response to such a bold and unequivocal statement.

For reasons that we don't know or really care about, the mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Hereu, wants
U.S. president Barack Obama to visit the city. How does he intend to achieve this? By having sent
Obama an invitiation... accompanied by two FC Barcelona shirts!
The way Señor Jordi sees it, the Barca shirt is the "most internationally recognized symbol of the
city" which makes it in order to gift a pair of them to the president of the United States.

According to English national team coach Fabio Capello, they are both undeserving.
In his eyes, David Beckham didn't deserve to be player of the game as the second-half substitute of
a 3-0 win against Belarus.
And Barack Obama didn't deserve to win the Nobel Peace Prize after being in office less than a
year.

Ah, I get it now – he has an adamantium right foot. Figures.
Despite looking increasingly like a mutant cross between Wolverine and how I imagine Ryan Reynolds'
grizzly older brother might look, Becks rolled back the years to put in a man-of-the-match stint
for England against Belarus last night at Wembley.

Buried deep in the mountain of sports news on college football, NFL, and the baseball playoffs
in the NY Times, Jere Longman writes about the US qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. It was not
exactly on top of the sports news in the major broadcasting networks either.

The US goes through to the World Cup!
I gave the Hondurans the benefit of their stranglehold at San Pedro Sula and happily I was
proven wrong.
A blizzard of goals descended on the second half of the match. And the US came out winners in
the end. Amongst all the chatter about Charlie Davis, Jozy Altidore, and even Brian Ching; Bradley
trotted out Conor Casey to start.

and that there was no point in delaying the decision. There has been no comment at this time from

Madrid, Tokyo and Chicago. All countries had brought leaders and celebrities to Copenhagen to
promote their bids. The US President Barack Obama even came to promote Chicago, that nevertheless,

The Midwest is of course hoping for a Chicago decision as is President Barack Obama who made a

played through the game despite being heckled and booed at.
