Why is our backup goalkeeper getting arrested for assault in a bar?
I write this from the train, on the return journey that marks the conclusion of my experience with
the 2011 Women's World Cup. There are sleeping Japanese fans scattered the cars – I can imagine
they went directly from their celebrations to the station.
The USWNT players are flying home.
BOONTON, NJ – Danny Szetela, 23, who played for both the Columbus Crew and D.C. United, and
played internationally for Racing Santander (Spain) and Brescia (Italy) was arrested last Fridday
night after a fight outside Johnnies Tavern in Boonton, New Jersey. Szetela was charged with
disorderly conduct with his brothers, Gregory G.
