An emergency general meeting will be called soon to solve the current crisis in the Bangladesh
Football Federation (BFF).
The decision was taken after BFF's acting general secretary Monir Ahmed along with some other
organisers including former general secretary Harunur Rashid and Badal Roy met Sports Adviser Tapan
Chowdhury yesterday.

morning, at the Gulshan Shikder Medical Hospital, after suffering from respiratory and kidney
ailments for a long time. He was 59.

football this season for commitments in other sports, it had a sudden change of heart.
A total of 16 tournaments were approved by the Executive Committee of the BFF with the revival of
the popular National Football League and the good old Pioneer League.
The BFF also gave a guideline to the B. League committee to complete the transfer of the second
edition of the professional league by February after discussion with the participating clubs.
Although the inaugural professional football league - the B. League - was held last year without
any sponsors, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) confirmed getting financial support for the
second edition even before the transfer dates have been announced.
Prime Bank has agreed to sponsor the 2nd B.
