Here is some footage of another of Thai Port's future AFC Cup opponents, Geylang United of
Singapore. The first video shows highlights of the recent Singapore Cup Final between Geylang
United and Bangkok Glass at Jalan Besar Stadium.
The second highlights package is from an 8 goal thriller in the S-League, between Geylang United
and DPMM.
Thai Port take on Chonburi in pre-season game
Thai Port will take on Chonburi in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 19th December at Sirindhorn
Stadium, Sri Racha. Before the main event, there will be a match between Chonburi FC fans and Thai
TV & Film stars. Match tickets are 100 baht.
Chonburi & Thai Port should have played each other at Sirindhorn on the last day of the 2009
season.
SLeague Home United have signed attacking midfielder Nelson San Martin for 2010. The Chilean has
previously had spells with Bangkok Glass and Kedah where he won back to back domestic trebles.
Old Trafford yesterday night hosted a 'Not for Sale' board outside dismissing rumours that a
Bangkok based Chinese consortium was putting up a 1 Billion GBP bid. Currently, the American Glazer
Family owns the Premier League Club and rumours were ripe that Man U were struggling to repay their
£60m-a-year interest on their £700m debt.
Thai Port Graffiti
An eagle eyed Thai Port fan, spotted this graffiti (or artwork) on a wall in the Bang Rak district
of Bangkok.

Please don't split on me, but I was moonlighting during the World Cup draw. I had been invited to
supply running commentary (read: incoherent ramblings made bearable only by the odd hilarious typo)
for another website alongside roughly a dozen other writers from all over the world, including
Englishmen exiled in Bangkok and Berlin.
According to the Thai FA website Thailand will play Oman in a friendly at the Thai Japanese Stadium
on 27 December.
Which is odd. On a number of levels.
First the Singaporeans thought they were playing Oman on 28 & 31 December.
Unless Oman will finish the game in Bangkok then hotfoot it down to Singapore with barely time for
a shower?

Thai Port set to face S-League opposition
According to Siam Sport, Thai Port are set to host a 4 team tournament in early January
(5th-8th) at PAT Stadium. Along with Port, the participating teams are set to be: TTM Phichit &
Osotspa Saraburi from the TPL, and S-League side, Home United.
My mate Marco is reporting that SLeague side Home United will be playing in a four team tournament
in Bangkok early January.
Hosted by Thai FA Cup winners Thai Port it will also feature TTM Pichet and Osotsapa Saraburi.
Talking about Marco the first time I met him he was doing a Nick Kamen in the Thai Port club shop.
Earlier in the year Malaysia announced they would play Zimbabwe in a couple of friendlies. Instead
what they got was some club side.
A few days back the Thais announced they would be playing Oman in an international
friendly...despite the fact that the Omanis were playing in Singapore 24 hours later.
Thailand beat a Zimbabwe eleven 3-0 at the Thai-Japanese Stadium in Bangkok. I'm sure Bryan Robson
will have been keen to take a look at one or two players before the upcoming Asian Cup qualifier
against Jordan. What he will have learnt from this hastily arranged friendly remains to be
seen!
For the record, the goalscorers were: Suttinan Phukhom 2, Keerati Kaewsombat 1.
