Por la segunda fecha del Grupo A del Sudamericano de Perú, y sufriendo como contra Uruguay, la Selección Argentina le ganó 2-1 al local con goles de Rogelio Funes Mori recién comenzado el partido y Bruno Zuculini, volante de Racing, cuando éste finalizaba, pero aún así el equipo jugó un partido realmente malo que incluso no mereció ganar.
