Let me begin by conveying how absolutely disgusted I am about this entire episode. First the dive by Eduardo (lets not kid ourselves, it WAS a dive) and then the hypocritical way UEFA has dealt with it.

We see the same circumstances every week. A player suffers insignificant contact and goes down and is awarded (or not) a penalty.

In the wee small hours of Sunday morning, a 10-man brawl broke out in the RnB Room at Bambu club in Birmingham where Wolverhampton and Birmingham City players were partying after their respective matches on Saturday. Those involved in the brawl, including Wolves backup keeper Carl Ikeme and Birmingham striker Cameron Jermone, were banned from the club for life.

Here's the latest on the now infamous transfer ban FIFA sanctioned on Chelsea a week or so ago. They Think It's All Over... is disgusted that UEFA have revoked Eduardo's diving ban, because it's taking the game backwards.

Chelsea received a two transfer window ban by FIFA stating, Chelsea cannot register any new players until January 2011. Chelsea has responded that they will appeal with the utmost strength possible. This ban of about a year and a half was given to Chelsea because of the way they dealt with signing Kakuta.

Chelsea's transfer ban has been lifted while FIFA get ready for final decision, Chelsea were banned because of signing Lens' ex-player Gael Kakuta by convincing Kakuta to terminate his contract. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has granted Chelsea's request for their Fifa transfer ban to be suspended pending a final decision by FIFA.
