Josh Hamilton was sick. Literally. Saturday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, Hamilton needed oxygen and an IV after the game. Despite not feeling well, the slugger for the Texas Rangers was a hero yet again.

With the Rangers down by a run in the 13th inning, Hamilton hit a two-run homer to give the Rangers an 8-7 victory.

The Boston Red Sox completed their choke. In their final game of the year, the Red Sox blew a ninth inning lead against the Baltimore Orioles. Leading 3-2 heading into the ninth, the Orioles pulled out a 4-3 victory.

Now the Red Sox play the waiting game. If the Tampa Bay Rays beat the New York Yankees, the Rays make the playoffs.

This is getting hard to watch. The Boston Red Sox are choking to death and are on the brink of blowing a huge lead in the AL Wild Card race. After losing to the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, the Red Sox are now tied with the Tampa Bay Rays.
