Video: M&T Bank Stadium Ready for Soccer Debut

The sod is laid at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium and Maryland's footie freaks are all geeked up for tomorrow night's sold out AC Milan-Chelsea match. The Baltimore Sun says there are a lot hopes riding on the match, including that of the Chelsea-bankrolled Baltimore Bays youth team.

First XI Mania

Yesterday, we learned the First XI for the MLS All Star Game versus Everton on July 29th. Everton has lost its two most recent matches against MLS sides in Chicago last year and Salt Lake the year before. (I bet you never read that in the British press). David Moyes team features American keeper Tim Howard and recent signing Anton Peterlin formerly of the Ventura County Fusion in the USL/PDL.

US Development Academy Finals To Be Broadcast on ESPN Classic

For the second consecutive year, the U.S. Soccer's Development Academy season will finish on a high note during Finals Week with the championship match in both age groups being broadcast live on ESPN Classic. Both matches will be played at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
