According to the Whitecaps website the TOA League is now 11 teams strong!
The addition of Tampa Bay and Baltimore brings the new league to nine teams, as they
join the owners of the Atlanta Silverbacks, Carolina RailHawks, Miami FC, Minnesota Thunder,

I guess some would look at this as a continuation of the war of press releases between the
United Soccer Leagues and the Team Owners Association, but nonetheless it's still news.
According to the press release the USL First Division will move forward next year without the
member clubs of the TOA, though Tampa seems to be on-board with the USL despite flirting with TOA
over the last few months.

The City of Baltimore has shown interest in a stadium for United. At this point I know United
would like to keep the team close to downtown Washington, but at this point the need of a stadium
outweighs any other options. The fact that United has had many failed attempts for a stadium, I
don't think anyone will be holding their breathe on this one.

M&T Bank hosting the World Football Challenge this summer.
Talk about a potential shocker. Baltimore's mayor has sent a letter to the Maryland Stadium
Authority to look into possibly building a soccer stadium for DC United.
The city became a bit more interested in the project after this summer's soccer tour that saw a
game at the 71,000-seat M&T Bank Stadium for AC Milan and Chelsea.

Are you like me?
No, I'm not talking about being handsome, charming and utterly hilarious. I'm talking about

Are you going to see Chelsea v. AC Milan in Baltimore? I know I am, and I want to meet up with

Goldthwaite sends a pass somewhere in Conways vicinity, only to have
Metro Killer Razov remind us why he is who he is, stuffing a goal past our
keeper.

For the average Red Bulls supporter, a loss in a meaningless tournament to a bunch of unknowns
would mean nothing at all. Who even knows who Lamar Hunt is anyway right? But to those who have
lived through Metro disaster after disaster, a loss to a subpar USL2 franchise is yet another notch
in our histories ever growing dissappointment belt.

As much as I would love to be in Baltimore for the MLS SuperDraft today, I will not be. Work here
in Dallas is keeping me from being able to attend and report from there but it doesn't keep me from
writing about it before, during and after it. Plenty of little nuggets to throw [...]

I probably won't get into too much detail over the weekend games. I honestly got to see very little
of them due to things going on around me right now. Plus it was a gorgeous weekend that I didn't
want to miss out on. Anyways, a few things to discuss that are going on in the [...]
