Just 48 hours before scoring against Chelsea Manchester City star Mario Balotelli received an almighty scare when Manchester United fans attacked him whilst driving in his white Maserati! The incident occurred on Saturday when Balotelli was driving his rather standout Maserati Gran Turismo through the streets of Manchester alongside girlfriend Raffaella Fico.

One for fans of PR damage control now, with the news that Man City have circulated the photo above of Micah Richards and Mario Balotelli playfully sparring in the City dressing rooms and generally being 'all good' with each other to poke a wee bit of fun at Thursday's little bout of training ground pugilism sparked, if rumours are to be believed, by a misplaced pass.

Mario Balotelli gets a lot of flak due to his precocious talent for doing stupid shit, and deservedly so. A week in England can't properly conclude without one of his behavioral issues hitting the headlines.

And then there's Luis Suarez, whose ability to somehow find the headlines is becoming no less prolific, if his misbehaviors happen less in a bathroom and more on an actual pitch.

The pair squared up to each other at the end of a practice game ahead of Manchester City's match against Arsenal on Sunday. The confrontation followed a war of words. In many ways this game was a microcosm of many recent Arsenal seasons. There was much to admire. There were a lot of exciting moments, the club matched the leading club toe-to-toe for large parts and it would be hard to pick one side over the other. The defenders worked hard, certainly considering the free-scoring nature of the opposition.
