The final three men shortlist for FIFA Balon D'OR 2011 has been announced. The final list is no
surprise to anyone following serious footballing action - Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Xavi
Hernandez. Actually everyone know who is going to win - Lionel Messi. But still you need a three
man shortlist.

It's nearly the end of 2011 (already!), which means its time for leagues and/or associations to
bestow some shiny medal to a few of footy's fiercest faces and bodies. Personally, we can't say we
have a storied past of winning things and thus, know how it feels since most of the plaques stored
beneath our desks say "Dirty Tackle" on them, but we (like most girls) have practised our beauty
queen waves all the same.

Dos Xoloitzcuintles en la Terna para la entrega del XII Balón de
Oro-Apertura 2011
Tijuana, Baja California. Este jueves 15 de diciembre el Comité de Operaciones del Balón de
Oro y la Primera División Profesional dio a conocer en la capital del País las Ternas de
nominados del Torneo Apertura 2011, para la entrega del XII Balón de Oro del máximo circuito, y
el evento que se llevará a cabo el lunes 16 de enero de 2012 contará con la participación de 2
jugadores del Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente.
Lionel Messi, once again has been nominated for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award.
He was nominated in three occasions and have not yet been succesful in winning this one. FC
Barcelona also has been nominated in the Sport Team of the Year category and Abidal also for the
Comeback of the Year.
