He caught a purple ball thrown at him from a height of 105 metres.Gavin Henson and David Seaman
entered the record books today as they both caught a ball travelling at terminal velocity above
Wembley National Stadium, London. The record-breaking moment marked the launch of Cadbury Spots v
Stripes' biggest game of Catch in the UK.
If you didn't understand Arsene Wenger's faith in this team, watch this game again and
again.
If you didn't believe the earlier games between the sides were close and the first goal made a
big difference, watch this game again.
I don't want to get too excited over one win. That's not in my nature.
Welcome to America, Li-Ning. Nice touch using Portland (U.S. home of Nike & Adidas) for the
location and Ashy Larry & that one dude from 40 year-old Virgin in your "coming out" advert. Your
shoes may be ugly as hell but at least you have some balls.
I used to like Fulham till last year. They were a decent side and played better than many other
teams around them in the table. Hodgson was a good manager and tactically he knew how to trouble
Arsenal.
Now it's impossible for me like them. And that is down to one man – Mark Hughes, who in my
book falls in the same category as Pulis, Brown, et al.

Goals:

Yet more utter embarrassment away from Anfield and no more than Liverpool deserve.
Other than 10 minutes after the interval, including a lucky equalizer from Kuyt and a couple of
clear chances to take the lead for Torres and Ngog, Liverpool were awful again.
On 29 July 2010 Santos' 18 year old wonderkid Neymar won and took a penalty in a Copa Brasil game
against Vitória. Neymar had the balls to try a Panenka penalty chipping the ball straight towards
the goalkeepers position expecting him to dive either way as Sebastián Abreu had famously done
only a few weeks earlier to win the World Cup quarter final against Ghana and originally inspired

Firstly, I would like to thank all those who wrote such kind words regarding my piece in the
Arsenal in the Community book. Secondly, I would like to thank Peaches and Rasp for establishing
such a hotbed of creative activity.
Which has nothing whatsoever to do with Stoke, particularly the "hotbed of creative
activity!
It was absolutely freezing last night, but at a tenner for my ticket it would have been rude not
too. First of all I would like to thank the company I had last night as always the legend that is
Arsenal TV Online's Akhil and Steve were on top form and we tried our very best to liven up the
graveyard that is Block 1.
George Carlin said it best...
"Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have
freedom of choice . . . you don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own
everything. They own all the important land. They own, and control the corporations.
FIFA official equipment provider adidas has presented the official match ball of the 2011 FIFA
Women's World Cup the SPEEDCELL. The new balls was unveiled on Tuesday during the tournament's
draw. According to adidas: The design of the SPEEDCELL incorporates significant symbolic elements,
including an 11-line graphic representing the 11 players in a team, thus emphasising [.
Let me start by saying this write up of Saturday's game would've been the same had we managed to
win 1-0. As I stood there in the freezing cold, watching what can only be described as the ultimate
long ball game with the odd pass and move thrown in for good measure, all the below thoughts were
being formulated prior to their equaliser and the final whistle.
It comes as no surprise to any of us right now that Chelsea have had a team meeting yesterday after
their training session ahead of the trip to Marseille this week. For the first time that I can
remember Carlo Ancelotti openly criticised his players after Everton.
Carlo's comments after the game have made headlines and the rumours and speculation continues about
his future.
Stockport manager Paul Simpson was left deflated as his side slipped to a 2-0 defeat at
Northampton on Saturday.
The Cobblers comfortably won the match with goals in each half from Kevin Thornton and
substitute Michael Jacobs.
Simpson said: "We've missed a good chance to move up the table.

Just before close of play last night, Ajax issued a statement confirming that they and coach
Martin Jol had parted company 'by mutual consent'.
Jol (who only joined the club last May) then issuing the following personal statement via

I started to write this on Sunday evening, and have also read through yesterday's debate without
getting the chance to comment much. So now my rambles have been requested by Peaches for a post in
Song's defence. I make no apology for the biased reporting and rewriting of recent history that
follows.
All of last season and even at the end of the summer transfer window I was one of the few who
maintained that Arsenal didn't need a new Keeper. Almost halfway through the season many fans have
come to accept this while some still go on about a Keeper signing with complete disregard to facts
and what actually happens on the pitch.
It takes money to change things in life and in football. Even with 20,000 players in the Canberra
region many people feel we haven't quite cracked it, not in terms of Government support, powerful
commmunity clubs, or resources.
But we Canberrans are a smart lot. And even if we don't get the $26 million AFL get from the
Government we'll be right.
Cristiano Ronaldo's latest cracking free-kick success had a minor but significant distinction from
his numerous others.
The Portuguese highlight reel has had a proclivity—from his Manchester United days—to use the
top of his foot, without following through, to create a driven, dipping, swerving strike on all his
free kicks.
Most supporters' clubs around the world pre arrange transport to and from home games for their
members and they often liaise with local police to ensure a trouble free day out. Fans know what
time to be at the pick up point and roughly what time they will get home by.
It's less formal in Indonesia.
Getting balls in the box The pre-match warm-up (warm probably being the wrong word) at Portman Road
for Ipswich Town's Championship match against Leicester City descended into a giant piece of
graffiti, with the groundsman opting to clear only select areas of the pitch!

Indonesia reached their first ASEAN Football Federation Cup Final since 2004 after defeating the
Philippines at the Bung Karno 1-0. The 2-0 aggregate victory sets up a clash between Indonesia and
Malaysia with a new name guaranteed on the trophy.
Christian Gonzalez scored the only goal of the game just before half time with a screamer from
outside the box giving him three for the tournament.

Christmas, the Holidays, and the upcoming new year.
The loss to Sunderland last weekend wasn't the toughest pill to swallow. It was always going to
be tough to get a result. The match against West Brom would be no different. Another team in
surprising form, they sit in 11th place (and are the only team whose name starts with a W that
aren't in the drop zone).
Roberto Mancini saw his Manchester City defense manhandled by a young 21 year-old rather old
fashioned center forward yesterday afternoon at St. James' Park. Andy Carroll - another inspired
performance by the Newcastle number 9 Andy won most balls in the air against the costly assembled
team of an Arab Billionaire yesterday afternoon, and is [.
Arsenal 3 Chelsea 1
This is the blog post which I've wanted to write for so long. To painfully rip of Barack Obama,
based on Monday's match, change has come to Arsenal.
It's very hard to say if this match will be the turning-point in the development of this team. But
it's the first time we've really outplayed United or Chelsea in a long time.
