Well hello there.
I see you've caught me off guard. As you can see, there are a number of people desperate for my
autograph two to be exact so if you don't mind, I'll have to seduce you while making these Berba
fans' dreams come true. And no, I don't know who this short man with the normal sized head is in
front of me, but yes, he is freaking me out, as well.
At the beginning of the month there was talk that the club would stop playing the deafening
music as the players walked out of the tunnel, in a bid to get the atmosphere going. The club gave
in to this request and the ground was almost silent as the players walked out, with the exception
of the Burnley fans' singing, who are one of the few clubs to take up their full allocation.
AFC head honcho has come out to suddenly backtrack on his disagreement with Sepp Blatter. Rumors
were flying that FIFA president hopeful came out against Blatter in a row over allocation of funds
for grassroots football in Africa. However, though the two have been described as good friends, bin
Hammam seems quick to smooth over any rough edges.

Ollie's Photoshop skills = almost as bad as Liverpool's form this season
"Inter are working to sign Steven Gerrard [this summer], given that Liverpool are in
economic difficulty," an Inter source has told Corriere dello Sport.

Even with this season's horrors, Liverpool hasn't done too badly in ‘statement games.'
Admittedly, basically every game's a statement game with the shape the side's in, but 2-0 wins over
United, Everton, and now Spurs (and a 1-0 win at Villa) are nothing to sneeze at.
This looks like an ad for D&G don't you think?! Seriously, what is
Palle d'oro even doing on the pitch? All of us already have nightmares of
Luca Toni with his new number 30 shirt and now GoldenBalls has returned to wreak
havoc on the city of Milan.
On the few occasions that we've sat at pitch level during a football match, we've always
been amazed at the stunning lack of depth perception you get compared to sitting higher up.
From this ground level perspective, you can hardly see the space between players; everyone
seems to be stepping on each other's toes.
This is an interesting video I caught on the blog of my favourite radio program dedicated to
football, RMC's After Foot. I will write another post about this French talk show which I find
really excellent.
Anyway, it is incredible to see all the steps needed to make a football which seems to be such a
simple object.
Kuschack (7 ) sold out on the goal, made a few nice saves. Nothing totally heroic required today,
but he did bail his defense out more than once.
Rafael (6.5 ), or was it Fabio? Regardless, with a five man midfield, his attacking licence was
hampered. Defended his flank with credit.

We all have off-days. If we play sports, we have off-days and occasional injuries. If we're
Arsenal we have off-days, occasional injuries, and the opportunity to win a lot of trophies if we
use the transfer window well. If not? Well, it's not as up in the air as last year felt at this
time, but it's still up in the air.
Mozambique benefit from generous goalkeeping Benin goalie Yoann Djidonou had already blown his
side's two-goal cushion over Mozambique by getting nowhere near a corner when this happened. The
keeper charged out of his area to blast the ball into touch only to find the multi-ball system had
turned his decision into a balls-up.
From the same horrible file of too much information as the story about Jose Mourinho telling
Frank Lampard how great he is while he soaps his balls comes this little nugget John Terry told
Chelsea's official magazine about his preference for a specific urinal at Stamford Bridge:
"It's true.
Tino picked up an injury in training, just in time for the Death March to roll into town. He'll be
touch and go to get back before we start kicking balls in anger again. Why do I get this sinking
feeling that we're going to pick up a couple of key...
UPDATE: Goal.com has an interesting scouting report on the youngster
Samuel Galindo.
January 16th, 2010: According to Arsenal's official website,
Arsenal plan on loaning out the newly signed Samuel Galindo.

"F**k me, Villa are worse than Stoke."
How to annoy Martin O'Neill? Accuse his team of playing long-ball football, that's how. Here's
Arsene Wenger in his post-match interview:
"We wanted three points, we got one. Maybe we dropped two.
By Walter Broeckx Martin O'Neill was angry at Arsène Wenger because (and I quote what Wenger has
said) "They [Aston Villa] play a very efficient English game, with long balls and it is very
physical. They are a good side at counter attacking. When we took the gamble to go forward and they
won the ball, they [.
"We have entered into discussions with his representatives about the player.
We have just looked at the situation and we feel we are juggling the balls in the air a little
bit and you are just hoping the squad is big enough and strong enough. With the injuries we have,
we are worried we are a little bit light in that area, and we have decided that we will try to make
a move.

John Terry, who is normally in the spotlight for being the captain of England's
national soccer team, is gaining attention for a less desirable reason – his alleged affair with
another woman.

Terry is a married man with two children so it's no surprise that he tried to make sure that his
private life be protected from public scrutiny but a High Court judge lifted a court order that
prevented the media from reporting allegations about Terry's infidelity.
