The 2010 African Cup of Nations fell away in quality and excitement after the opening round of
group games. If this year's tournament does the same, we will be in for a long three weeks. Over
the course of the next couple of weeks, we'll be bringing you up to date with the progress of the
four groups in this competition as each round of matches is completed and the first round of group
matches is now over.

Los albos no pudieron con Atlético Balboa. Empataron 1-1 y estuvieran a punto de perder. Abrió la
cuenta Alex Campos para los de La Unión y sobre el final, en el 89′, igualó Carlos Ayala. Firpo
es el líder con diez puntos. Alianza quedó segundo.
Atlético Balboa empató 1-1 con Once Municipal en el cierre de la segunda fecha. Julián Cruz puso
en ventaja a los locales y Solís empató para los canarios. La fecha apenas tuvo 7 goles, una
cifra bajísima.
