This was the first league win for the Bluebirds at West Brom since 1957. Goals by Chris Burke
(18) and Peter Whittingham (85 pen) did the damage. The other talking point was the red card shown
to West Brom goalkeeper/skipper Scott Carson in the second half, for a head butt on Michael
Chopra.
