PSSB Bireuen is not the easiest place to get to. Up on the Aceh coast the nearest airport is about
a six hour drive away in Medan. If you're lucky. Fandi Ahmad, the Pelita Jaya coach, described
going there a true Indonesian football experience.
Now in the second tier Premier League with little liklihood of promotion anytime soon their small
support is dwindling even further and unfortunately Indonesia doesn't have much in the way of
ground hoppers to purchase little badges and match day programmes to supplement gate receipts.
Safa have just announced that an Iron on Protea badge will be available for the Bafana Bafana
replica jerseys for R20.
OK the whole Bafana Bafana jersey controversy has been bubbling over since the day that Adidas
revealed the new 2010 Bafana Kit. We have ended up with three different versions of the jersey, all
selling for different amounts.
One of the hottest trends on the Internet right now is location-based social networking services
such as Foursquare, Gowalla, Google Latitude and others. They allow you to "check in" whenever you
visit a public place such as a coffee shop, restaurant or anywhere else, and your friends can see
where you are.
Bafana Bafana 2010 Away Jersey
Went online to look for Bafana Bfana jerseys. No if you want to buy a Bafana Bafana Jersey, you
need to know there are three kinds of Yellow Jerseys ( besides the ladies and children and standard
version)
- Safa, Adidas and Protea
- Safa and Adidas logos
- Adidas logo
The one with three logos seems to be the most expensive.

The FA have concocted a scheme wherein they plan to approach several 'senior pros' with an offer
of being fast-tracked through the international coaching structure, with the express intent of
saddling them with enough experience to hopefully take on the full England mantle as and when the
time comes.
Doherty: Will he make it?
A new decade has crept up from seemingly nowhere, just as most of us are still getting used to
the idea of a new millennium. At moments like this, we turn to reminisce of the ten years that have
passed and reflect on times gone by. Picking an XI of Premier League players for these ten years
seems like an unenviable task.
Who dis? Pies wants your guesses educated or not NOW!
Previous answer: Gareth Southgate
Spotter's badges: Er, no one this time. Except Chris from TwoFootedTackle, who
did get it right via Pies' Twitter feed.

Can you name this ball-headed Arsenal player? Let's ave it...
Previous answer: Mark Hughes
Yep, it was Sparky and his bow legs, after a snowy Cup Winners' Cup game at Tromso in 1997.
Spotter's badges: Chringle and Davy

Who's stuck in the middle with Rio, Edwin, Robin and Johan?
Previous answer: Big Phil Senderos
Spotter's badges: Beastisita (first), Jesus, Davy, Adam, Eamogomez (sound like
a decent five-aside team)
Right then. I've got to touch on a couple of things this morning before we move on.
Tony Pulis claims that 300 Arsenal fans emailed messages of support to Ryan Shawcross. I mean, I
could talk about how every Arsenal fan I have spoken to this last week think Shawcross is a
horrible clogging cunt and doesn't merit the slightest bit of backing, least of all from Arsenal
fans, but I don't think I need to.
Cast your mind back to when Liverpool were last crowned champions of England in 1990 and picture
the way Anfield looked.
Many will have no trouble remembering the stadium, with its three fairly primitive, single-tiered
stands and a standing Kop, but try and recall some of the names on the advertising boards that
flanked the playing surface.
EFW dismiss popular adage
There's no such thing as a free badge according to the popular adage. Well, let us put that little
phrase to bed right here, right now. To celebrate the fact we now have 417 EFW Facebook members and
133 followers of our EFW Twitter feed - all landmark figures I'm sure you'll agree - I've had 133
EFW badges made up and will be dishing them out all willy nilly for free and stuff.
Anfield legend Robbie Fowler says the time may be right for Liverpool FC boss Rafa Benitez to leave
the club.
The future of Benitez has been the subject of much speculation in recent months following a
below-par campaign that saw Liverpool FC finish seventh in the Barclays Premier League and miss out
on a Champions League place.
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has warned Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez that "no-one is bigger
than the club."
Benitez brought Fowler back to Anfield for an emotional second spell four years ago, but his own
position has come under increasing scrutiny in recent weeks.
And Fowler, now playing for Perth Glory in Australia, said: "I was always grateful to him (Benitez)
for bringing me back, so I always have a bit of a soft spot for him, but at the end of the day it's
a big club and no one is bigger than the club.
I am bedecked!
The house is suitably festooned.
Our front room bears its own decorations.
We have flags. We have bunting. We have badges. I have my shirt (My Lover does not consider himself
to be a football shirt wearer!).
I am ready.
Plans in place to have my hair done tomorrow morning, then collect My Lover from the airport, visit
my father for his 70th birthday, then home to beer, bubbly and a night of passion.
Foursquare has partnered with CNN for the 2010 World Cup to enable all the soccer fans around
the world to connect with other fans through the location based social networking service.
South Africa Explorer or Super Fan
Fans will be eligible for two CNN badges on Foursquare.
Some of you who regularly read EPL Talk know that I'm a big fan of location-based social
networking apps such as Foursquare, Gowalla, Miso and – one of my new favorites – Foodspotting.
The apps, which can be used on your phone or online, allow you to "check in" to different places so
your friends and followers can find out what establishments you like and which TV programs you

In what could well be a first for Indonesian football Super League champions Arema have opened an
official store.
Of course this being Indonesia the domestic season has ended save for a few Indonesia Cup games.
And judging by these images the shop is selling shirts from a previous season!
They are aiming for first year sales of $220,000 USD which to me seems on the low side.
One-time Italian striker and living lengend Roberto Baggio is set to return to the game as a
technical director for the Italian Federation.
"The shy 43-year-old, who shone at the 1990 and 1994 World Cups, has shunned the limelight since
retiring in 2004 and has only just started his coaching badges.
Michael Owen has had quite an illustrious career for a guy that is only 30 years old and, like
many footballers that see regular minutes at such an early age, the forward will likely hang up the
boots sometime within the next few years. And Owen who has already played 13 seasons on the top
flight has starred for teams like Liverpool and Real Madrid.

he'll be by then? He might even go back in time to 2005.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs hasn't exactly ruled himself out of
becoming the next manager of Wales, although he hasn't exactly ruled himself in either.
Giggs continues to play a pivotal role in the United midfield, but the 36-year-old veteran (who

country certainly appeals to him, telling the Daily Telegraph;
"If you go into management, the big job is to be in charge of your country.

and Wolves.

unique and subtle feel.
