That was the case for the ROMA MASTERS 1000 Mens Final between NOVAK DJOKOVIC & Spaniard RAFAEL NADAL as it was delayed from Sunday due to the bad weather. Rafael Nadal wins his sixth Roma Masters 1000 Spanish Sports & Tennis got a great boost with the news that Nadal

Last night the US Women played their second and final match of the Kirin Challenge Cup. The initial kickoff time was an inconvenient 4am Pacific, but due to impending bad weather the match was moved up to a more reasonable midnight. Unfortunately, ESPN stuck with the initial time for the broadcast, so Twitter was the only source for live updates.

Last night on Twitter @ussoccer, we posed the question of when the last time the U.S. Men's National Team was on Panamanian soil. Many people threw out June 8, 2005, the 3-0 win in World Cup Qualifying. A perfectly appropriate guess - if it wasn't a trick question! We have to keep you on your toes after all .

Soccer calendars vary by state, primarily due to the local climate. Yet many soccer parents chuckle at the concept of 'Spring' soccer, because the weather can get pretty wild (and cold) some years. A heavy cloud appears set to hover over English football during the next week or so, one with far greater implications than a simple bout of bad weather. For all the pre-match preamble concerning Liverpool's progress and Wayne Rooney's Euro ban, the newspaper headlines that have come out of Saturday's contest make grim reading for everyone.

I've been thinking over and over about the last game, with the goalkeeper going off, and it's bugging me mercilessly. When I think about it intellectually, I know the referee did the right thing in letting it happen - it's why I didn't press into it when we talked about it post-game (although we did talk about it).

Here are the latest rankings. The separation the top three had is still there but with more losses, even if they came on the road, it won't be for much longer.
1. Real Salt Lake - Had to figure the team was due for a letdown even though Portland is a tough place to play.
2. New York - Took the throttle off after one goal, but it was more than enough to silence KC.
