I first heard these rumours mentioned about a month ago online somewhere, can't remember where,
but I do remember thinking to myself that it felt a decent fit.
Stories about a falling out between Bendtner Junior and Wenger emerge today.
A meeting with Bayern officials made and carried out by Bendtner Senior in recent weeks seem to
be adding fuel to the fire.
We had said Joey Barton would be a key player this afternoon for Newcastle United at West Brom, but
now he's been ruled out injured, and that's bad news. Joey was expected to return to the first team
after serving his 3 game suspension for violent conduct, but is now out through injury, which is
[...
It was stated earlier in the weeks that Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuian will be out for 2
months with a hernia in his lower back but recent reports have him returning sooner than expected.
As Higuian started his recover program on his herniated disc problem, it seems that the results are
rapidly getting better and the amount estimated for his recover will be a lot sooner.
One striker.
That is all Real Madrid will really be left with this December before the January transfer
window opens back up. The loss of Gonzalo Higuain to a hernia problem could cost Jose Mourinho a
shot at the league title this season.
Just a few weeks back Real Madrid potentially looked like they could become the best team in the
world by the end of the year.
Tottenham Hotspur: The fourth place English club from last season is currently in first place in
Group A with 10 points earned in 5 matches. If they win this week then they will likely remain on
top of the group with a 3 goal advantage currently over the defending champs.
Inter: Rafa's new club is safe for now, but need a win and a Tottenham draw to seal the first
seed.
There is some bad news tonight because on Skybet Alan Pardew has shortened to 8/15 on, and Martin
Jol is now 3-1. Alan Pardew this would be a surprising choice by Newcastle We just cannot believe
that Newcastle would appoint Alan Pardew as Newcastle manager, after sacking Chris Hughton. Can
somebody explain to us [.
Normally on a Friday we're looking forward to the game tomorrow, or Sunday at the latest. Having
to wait until Monday evening seems a bit rubbish to me but television has decided.
It means there'll be lots of time to think about the team and who might be fit. Obviously the
main issue is over Cesc.
Bad news today in the Sunday Sun, that Steven Taylor is about to leave Newcastle, and will not
sign his new contract. Steven Taylor tussles with Torres yesterday - soon to be team mates? The
Sunday Sun is reporting that Steven has rejected Newcastle's latest improved offer. So if that's
true we suppose he will [.
Irish racing fans starved of National Hunt racing in the main for the last two weeks due to the
persistent freezing weather, received bad news and good news on Monday with the abandonment (again)
of the Punchestown fixture that was scheduled to stage the Grade 1 John Durkan Memorial Chase,
writes Elliot Slater.
More bad news on the WPS front, as the Red Stars have announced that they are suspending
operations for 2011 ... and hoping to rejoin the fray in 2012. Obviously, this is not good, as it
whittles down the teams currently competing to six. However, on a brighter side, the league
continues!
Does it make me nervous to hear about this?
Steve Harper was injured at Everton, but that bad news was offset by allowing 22 year-old Tim Krul
to have a run of games in the first team, and he certainly hasn't let the Newcastle side down at
all. Tim Krul - only looking forward In fact Tim had an excellent game against Liverpool [...]
Super Sunday (Sky trademark) is no longer super. Dammit.
Manchester United's visit to Stamford Bridge has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.
Chelsea suits called the game off more than 24 hours before it was to be played, "following
consultation with the Police and the local authority.
Good morning, more snow again yesterday but good news everyone! It's only -8 this morning. Bad
news though, I seem to have some kind of cold. Dennis giveth, Dennis taketh away.
Further to yesterday's blog about Nicklas Bendtner The Mirror reports on a cheeky Lazio bid to
bring him in on loan in January while The Sun says 'pfffshaw, Bendtner's going nowhere'.
Feyenoord Sporting Director Leo Beenhakker is livid with Chelsea, Arsenal, United and English clubs
in general after reports have appeared in recent days stating that Chelsea are about to grab on of
their hottest youth properties Nathan Ake.
Nothing has been confirmed by Chelsea at all officially but it seems that a deal has been struck
for Ake to sign professional terms at the club after turning 16 in February meaning that the Dutch
club will receive a reported £228,000 compensation pay out.
There was good news and bad news on the yellow card front after yesterday's 3-1 loss to Manchester
City. Kevin Nolan battles De Jong yesterday The good news is that for once Cheick Tiote did not
pick up another yellow card to add to the eight he's already received this season, but the bad news
[...]
With the Spurs game coming just 48 hours after the Man City game, there's some bad news today that
Jose Enrique is out with a hamstring problem. Jose failed a fitness test today and will be replaced
by James Perch, who comes in at right-back for his first Premier League start since mid-October.
Danny Simpson [.
Welcome one and all to our magical, magnificent, marvellous match banter article that will cover
the Tottenham vs Newcastle fixture this afternoon. There is some bad news for us all to digest
regarding the fitness of Jose Enrique I'm afraid. It would appear, according to Jose's Twitter
account, that our left-back will miss the game this [.
