Man, did I love buying hockey cards as a kid. I'd take my 35 cents, run over to the corner store,
and open those bad boys up. After stupid things like inflation and market saturation, my beautiful
card collection's value sunk like a stone. I still have them (if interested, inquire within) but
some of the cards are, effectively worthless.
The Czech Republic national team might just be the bad boys of Europe, never seemingly far from
the dark side of the press or contributing to a hooker's rent. They'd also been underachieving a
bit, giving them due reason to celebrate their inclusion in Polkraine 2012.
Of course, taking it out on a detractor by singing "Radek Drulak has no cock.
Kemsley and Pinton Broker Their DealI hate Hollywood endings. Like many sports fans, I
structure my life with the seasons of my teams, the failure of another trophy-less year the painful
reminder of all I hoped to accomplish within the same time span but haven't yet wrapped up. The
playoff loss to LA was all the more painful as it seemed to play out to someone else's script.
Sir Alex Ferguson has defended the touchline antics of Jose Mourinho.
The Real Madrid manager hit the headlines once more after appearing to poke Barcelona assistant
Tito Vilanova in the eye following a recent Spanish Supercopa clash. Many feel such incidents could
cost Mourinho any chance of succeeding Ferguson as Manchester United boss when the Scot eventually
calls time on his stellar career.

We all know that despite occasional lapses into normal behaviour, all of the above guys spend
more time operating on the outer fringes of the sanity scale than the rest of us.
Following their 0-0 draw at the Brittania on Sunday, Stoke manager Tony Pulis and Chelsea boss
Andre Villas-Boas have been in a war of words. The new Chelsea manager has accused Stoke of being
too physical, and Pulis has once again jumped to the defense of his resilient side.
"This big Stoke team was actually outmatched by Chelsea at the end.
The first big transfer move is all but done. Jordan Henderson, a staple in the Sunderland midfield
since 2008, is set for a move to Anfield as Liverpool offer 20M pounds and David N'Gog in exchange.
Good pick up for Liverpool. Not only are they able to secure the rights to a very talented, young
central midfielder (who now has the opportunity to be groomed by world-class Steven Gerrard), they
also retain value from a player they had virtually no use for in David N'Gog.

If football's ability to constantly surprise is one of the things that keeps Alex Ferguson so
hooked on the game, then one wonders what he's made of this past week.
Could he have imagined, in the build up to tomorrow's Champions League final, that it would be Ryan
Giggs who was dominating the media for non-footballing reasons?
Well my colleague Zach has been feeding you Kit news and photos for the upcoming season. I decided
to join in on the fun and have some new kits to show plus news about Liverpool.

I know you guys have seen this shirt in one of Zach's earlier kit articles.
To Hampden last night, tuxedo-ed up and on best behaviour.
The SFA Grassroots Awards presented by McDonald's and The Sunday Mail.
Easy to be dismissive of the SFA and it's a target I'm loathe not to take a kick at when I think
they deserve it.
Obviously problems with the development of young players persist.
