Sacha Kljestan's run of form is turning out to be anything but temporary.
Kljestan continued his strong season for Anderlecht, scoring a goal in the club's 5-3 triumph
over Lokomotiv Moscow in their UEFA Europa League battle. His curling effort to the far corner dug
Anderlecht out of an early 1-0 deficit and helped the Belgian side win its group, which should make
for a more favorable result during Friday's knockout round draw.

Liverpool drop points again at Anfield, failing convert their late surge into a winning goal

Yes it's a goal from practically the half-way line and yes it demonstrates impressive vision and
technique from the goal-scorer. However, in this case, Ryan Jack's long-range goal for Abderdeen in
their 2-1 win against St Johnstone is a rather tame affair, all things considered.

Regardless of the wealth spent on this team, this is City's first outing in the Champions

champions. The Wave trounced the Lancers 24-9 after a hotly contested 1st quarter that saw a

The MLS Generation adidas side continued its tour of the Netherlands with a 3-2 victory over

Game after game the Lancers have proven that their learning curve is short. Each
game a new lesson learned. Still the onlookers were apprehensive as the Lancers took the field
against their league rivals the Silver Knights whom had just bested the
Blast.
Liverpool have been alerted to the possible availability of Real Madrid star Mesut Ozil, after the

A week after enduring one of his worst performances of the season, Clint Dempsey responded in a
big way.
Dempsey lifted Fulham to victory over Bolton Wanderes on Saturday, scoring a goal and assisting
on another in the 2-0 affair. Dempsey found the back of the net with a well-placed header before
sending Costa Rican teammate Bryan Ruiz in on goal with a nifty pass.

The Baltimore Blast entered this past weekend desperate for their first home win of the season,
while at the same time seeking to regain some momentum as they prepare to head into a vital stretch
of their schedule.
The Blast were successful on both fronts as they defeated the Missouri Comets on Friday evening
17-9 in front of 4,081 fans at the First Mariner Arena.

Scoring was not the easiest of things for the U.S. men's national team in 2011. It found the
back of the net just 16 times in 17 games for its lowest goal-scoring total in a decade.
That does not mean there weren't any nice goals, though.
