The Group F is perfectly balanced at the moment with all teams having drawn their opening game.

To summarise, an individual and/or item that ruins an otherwise perfectly wonderful shot and
therefore our day.
A couple of things today:
First, the rumors around a possible Sebastien Squillaci transfer are reaching a bit of a
crescendo, and it is being widely reported that Squillaci is in London for his physical. He has
reportedly agreed personal terms (on a 3-year deal, supposedly), and Arsenal and Sevilla have
reportedly agreed to a fee of £5.

Liverpool may again start with Ryan Babel in attack with top scorer Fernando Torres out

Bit of 'breaking' for you here. Liverpool have just confirmed that Brazilian defender
Fabio Aurelio has turned down a new pay-as-you-play style deal and is to leave the
club next week.
Due to his injury record, Liverpool were keen to to protect their interests by offering Aurelio
a flexible deal based on appearances, but the 30-year-old has decided to seek a more secure deal
elsewhere thus ending his four-year stay at Anfield.
With all the news regarding Fabregas during the past week it seems that Wenger has been patient
and quiet about the entire matter. With Fabregas demanding the Barcelona transfer and putting his
fate in Wenger's hands, it seems that Wenger would come out and explain what his plans are
regarding Fabregas.
In perhaps the biggest non-World Cup news of the day, Liverpool has put together a £3 million
buyout offer for Rafa Benitez, signaling the likely end of his tenure as Liverpool manager.
Benitez is due a £16 million payout if his current deal is terminated, but the shaky
financial state of the club makes it al but impossible for Liverpool to pay that amount, which
means Benitez will have to choose between taking the offere made by the club or staying on as
manager of a club that doesn't want him and a club with limited resources to improve the
roster.

After a disappointing tie with Paraguay, Italy received more bad news on Tuesday with the word
that star goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has a serious back injury.
Buffon, one of the world's best at his position, twinged his sciatic nerve and was substituted
