Zero wins, one goal, one player sent home, an open revolt, and a lame duck coach – that's the World Cup in a nutshell for the French National Team.

It was a sorry performance that left an entire country outraged a country that was on the brink of winning the same competition just four years earlier.

"Hmm, the chicken or the fish?"

Firstly, a disclaimer: I know modern Premier League teams have big squads which they rotate, and I know there's quite a difference between the team you pick for a home match and an away match. Just so we're clear on that.

Let's be clear about this. We didn't deserve to win this game. But, equally, we didn't deserve to lose.

And what struck me most about the game was what a pathetic bunch of cheating babies the United players are.

Last last month, some of our favorite North London-based 'ballers and their ladies attended the Sunset Boulevard style charity gala for Ndoro Children's Charities at the Mayfair Hotel.

The theme of the gala was "1950s Glamour" and guests were encouraged to dress as such. The WAGs in attendance certainly looked lovely, but we are going to have to slap a big FAIL sticker on every one of 'em for not dressing to theme.

The experienced midfielder and former France captain Patric Vieira has been left out of the provisional 30-man World Cup Squad.

This summer sees South Africa host the most prestigious footballing trophy there is: The World Cup. The competition hosts the most talented footballers in the world with the likes of Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo (although we hate to admit it!) and Kaka all playing for their respective countries.

Several big stories today. First off, Arsenal have announced who will wear the # 10 shirt in the coming season...

And to no one's surprise, it's Robin van Persie. As regular readers know, I suspected as much a few weeks back when the official site gave notice to those fans buying individual player shirts that Robin van Persie had requested a number change, so van Persie shirts would not be shipped until his new number was confirmed.

The World Cup in 2010 will go down in history for a few things. Vuvuzela's, The first World Cup in Africa, England's abysmal showing, Germany's bright future, Netherlands awful tactics and the Spanish proving they are the best side in the world. Yet one other event for me outshone them all.

That's one third of the season gone already. The 2 months in between May and August passes really slowly without football and yet almost 4 months have elapsed since the start of the season. After 13 games, Arsenal sit pretty in second place just 2 points off leaders, Chelsea.

For the last five years, Arsenal supporters have looked back on their season feeling bittersweet. The 30-man preliminary rosters from each national team federation were due to FIFA today. While rosters still have to be pared down from 30 to 23 before the tournament itself starts, that will almost certainly be done from the 30 men on each preliminary roster, so if you're not on one of those rosters, it's pretty safe to say you're not going to the World Cup.

The final list of players registered for the new Premier League season came out yesterday and there were a whole host of questions being asked about Arsenal's list, not least a paper which said our list was a farce. Before we go through the rights or wrong, here's the list.

Arsenal traveled to Manchester to take on Manchester City in a much anticipated encounter while finding themselves in the 6′th position of the Premier League table. They came back with a 3-0 victory after sapping 10- man Man city and leaving them de-spirited in a lively encounter that saw us claim the 2nd spot in the Premier League table.

This week, Arsene Wenger decided to enliven training sessions with his young side by introducing a discussion group element, encouraging debate and self expression amongst the players. Today's topic was the human genome project and as you can see from these photographs, the players responded very differently to the subject matter.

If you're wondering about the title, it is a reference to my yesterday's preview on why Arsenal need to beat Chelsea. Nothing about maintaining the gap to Manchester United, nothing about overcoming our recent bout of dire results against them and certainly nothing about shutting John Terry up.
