Arsenal might face a double raid from Chelsea by BA Bacary Sagna has two years left on his Arsenal
contract and Theo Walcott has just one. If reports are to be believed, then Arsene Wenger is in
danger of losing both players to Premier league rivals Chelsea. Roman Abramovich seems to have just
remembered that [.
Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has attributed his far improved performances last season to
the additional time he has spent in the gym compared to when he first arrived at the club.
Koscielny's move from Lorient two years ago was met with mixed reaction, with some quickly
appreciating his mobility as a center-half and others criticizing his lack of strength.
Bacary Sagna has reminded the Arsenal management that the club needs more new talent in order to
compete seriously for silverware next season. In particular, the right-back wants the Gunners to
place a bid for the services of Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.
Sagna is one of the very few who are confident that skipper Robin van Persie will sign a new
long-term contract to remain a Gunner.
Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna believes that club teammate Theo Walcott has taken criticism in
his stride properly to mature into a very important player for the club.
Walcott went through a turbulent campaign last season, performing inconsistently through
February to hear the jeers from both outside the club and within some sections of the Gunners
faithful.
You're not going to catch me near your club John
So that's the end of the saga then. The story of the Belgian in France which had everyone
captivated. The enduring story of his struggle in Lille and his journey to be free. Many postulated
that he could end up in Manchester but that was not the case.

Hello, how's the head? Pounding, eh? I know the feeling. A quick Saturday round-up for you. Not
that you don't deserve more. There just isn't more.
Anyway, we'll start with Bacary Sagna who in the spare time he has since that bloke tromped on
his leg and broke it, has obviously been soaking up the mood from the old Twitter box.
Wanted asset?
We all knew what's required of this break between seasons. For us fans to take a break and
recharge our batteries in the same way as the players/coaches. Perhaps not from a physically tiring
state like the players but definitely from the mentally sapping campaign that we just went
through.

ARSENAL'S ‘UNSUCCESSFUL' SEASON: AN ALTERNATIVE REVIEW
Robin van Persie was spotted in The Gunners pub shortly after the West Brom game. At one point
he was seen riding the shoulders of a stout, balding supporter. A few minutes later he was behind
the grill at Piebury Corner.
Hi, I'm Jules.....Yaaaay! We won today 3-2 at the Hawthorns, which means that we are in the
Champions League, third spot secured, C'mon Gunners!
And Happy Saint Totteringham's Day to all the Gunners out there! What an end to the season.
Absolutely fantastic!
Well the first thing I want to say is a little apology because I haven't been able to do the
last few videos.
1-0 up, 2-1 down and a (seemingly) improbable fight back... Arsenal's victory at the Hawthorns
may not have had quite the drama of Manchester City's stunning fight back at the Etihad, but its
importance for the Gunners cannot be overestimated.
Suicidal defending, an inability to keep possession, plenty of pretty passing and an unlikely
3-2 victory.
The Ideal Arsenal Staring XI for 2012/13, featuring Vertonghen, M'Vila, Podolski and RVP -

Arsenal have been through something of a rollercoaster season, starting very slowly before a
revival has the north London side 90 minutes away from a respectable third place.
Bacary Sagna broke his leg on Saturday and will miss out on France's Euro 2012 campaign this
summer. He's also accused Norwich City's Bradley Johnson of deliberately injuring him by stepping
on his leg, which caused him to go to the ground unchallenged near the 33rd minute mark.
What we want to be reporting on is how his abs are coping with this news.
Arsene Wenger may want to go out and buy a lottery ticket as soon as possible as luck's clearly on
his side right now. Arsenal's fate is once again back in their own hands after Newcastle dropped a
2-0 decision at home to Manchester City on Sunday while Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw at Aston
Villa.
Wenger Urges Gunners to Match RVP's Production against WBA
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has urged his players to step up and match
captain Robin van Persie's level of play in the final game of their 2011/12
Barclays Premier League campaign.
Shambolic defending
It was not the send off that we wanted to see. For the fans or for Pat Rice. The 90 minutes was
the shorter version of what our season was. The bright start (Udinese) to the shoddy defending
(United away, Fulham away) to coming back strongly (Chelsea away, Sp*rs home) to more lapses in
defending (QPR away, Wigan home).

Lansbury Seeking Answers on His Future
Arsenal youngster Henri Lansbury is expected to hold a face-to-face meeting
with manager Arsene Wenger before deciding whether to ask for a permanent transfer
or ink a new deal with the Gunners.
It's often cast as the sporting equivalent of the descent to Hades where brutality reigns for
what seems an eternity and only heroes emerge unscathed and Arsenal prepared as if they were
entering the Britannia Stadium as such. But just as Stoke City had a gameplan to stop Arsenal based
on exaggerated muscularity, so did The Gunners to show their technical superiority.
The EPL is wrapping up though not before a last gasp effort for Manchester City to wrestle the
title away from their neighborly foes United.
Our picks for Best XI:
Krul, not kind to opponents....
G: Tim Krul (Newcastle)
The skinny: Tough pick here.
Morning all,
the great thing about football is that you can choose to ignore the bits you don't like. So,
John Terry, hahahaha. The rest?
*puts fingers in ears*
"Lalalalalala, can't hear you can't hear you can't hear you, lalalalalalala, stop talking,
can't hear you, lalalalala"
I mean, just when you thought you couldn't dislike Barcelona any more for always trying to nick
our players and suckle the DNA directly from their teats, they let something like this happen.
I'm not listening to any more of this
No sooner had Robin Van Persie lifted a personal trophy, everyone were quick to debate his
destination beyond July 2012. His reasoning behind why he's been on fire this season doesn't help
either. Playing every game like it was his last one will bound to flame those hungry rumour
mongers.
Threat at both ends
Looking at the result of yesterday after the final whistle and 4 hours later when Sp*rs finished
made for 2 contrasting feelings. The first was one of frustration and disappointment, the latter
was one of huge relief. For we had the chance to open up a little gap to the chasing pack but we
did not take it.
Arsenal left-back Andre Santos has made it clear that he is now feeling complete settled in
London and has attributed much of his comfort at the club to the relationships he has developed
with teammates off the field.
After gradually making a successful transition from a deadline-day signing to the team's
starting left-back, Santos famously scored in the 5-3 derby win away to Chelsea in October.
Experienced heads to the fore
The league table makes for good reading this morning. In third place and building up a healthy 5
points gap over our closest rival. I'm not saying this is a position that Arsenal should be
aspiring over the course of any season but in the context of this, it's the best we can
achieve.

DLLLLLL
No, I haven't just mashed my forehead onto my keyboard, the above letters are the recent record
of tonight's opponents Wolves since they sacked Mick McCarthy. Drew one, lost six, a run of matches
that sees them rooted to the bottom of the Premier League with a measly 22 points, six away from
nearest relegation battlers Wigan.

Manchester City's Italy international Mario Balotelli has publicly apologised to City, Roberto
Mancini and his Italy national team coach Cesare Prandelli following his performance and actions in
Sunday's loss against Arsenal.
Balotelli was red carded within only minutes left in the game after he received a second
yellow card for a bookable offense against Bacary Sagna.
This doesn't appear to be new, but it's too excellent to be missed out on.
Actually, it might be a bit late. While Citroen has a wonderful idea of mixing football with
ballet to sell a car isn't that the ideal? this is probably several years too late. This commercial
needed to happen six or seven years ago, with Patrick Vieira, Jens Lehmann, Freddie Ljunberg (this
one, not CKFreddie) and of course, Pascal Cygan in the role of trainees.

Today, Arsenal had a chance to make a statement of where it stands in the current hierarchy of
English football. This was not just a game we needed to win to keep us in contention for a top-four
finish – no, this was also a game in which we needed to demonstrate to ourselves again how good
we really are.

As part of Citroen's 'The Refined, Redefined' viral push for the new DS5, we see several of the
Arsenal first-string we're talking Alex Song, Wojciech Szczesny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and
Bacary Sagna limbering up and practising a few pliés and pirouettes before being put through
their paces by the girls from the English National Ballet all to the accompaniment of virtuoso
classical penis Martin Keown.
Arsenal have a reputation for their graceful and classy style of play and that apparently
translates rather well to ballet. In an ad for French (and thus Arsene Wenger approved) car maker
Citroen, Wojciech Szczesny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alex Song and Bacary Sagna were paired off
with ballerinas from the English National Ballet and put through their paces.
3 Lungs
While I'm sure the players are glad for the extra days of rest, it's a sentiment not shared by
Arsenal fans all around the world. Frankly, we've missed them already. Tomorrow could not come any
quicker. There's several things surrounding the QPR match.
First of all, it will be the anniversary of David Rocastle's death.
If, as the orange and black banner draped against the North Stand is correct, and Robin van
Persie does score "when he wants", it was evidently his day off as he left it to the others to get
the goals. On the face of it, perhaps it was a good thing as it showed Arsenal are not so reliant
on Robin van Persie and Arsène Wenger indicated as much, although he would have wanted van Persie
to continue his goalscoring form and thus kept him on until the end.

With Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini vigorously ploughing the Eden Hazard furrow and Harry
Redknapp (or REDBAPPS as our cellphone autocorrect amusingly insists) flirting with Loic Remy,
Ligue 1 is clearly going to be a heavy contributor to the EPL cause this summer.
The consistent Bacary Sagna by KJ I'm of the opinion that our little Frenchman, Bacary Sagna has
been our best defender for quite some time now. I haven't seen a player be so consistent for
Arsenal over the years, it's mind boggling. Sagna began his career at Auxerre winning the French
cup in 2005. Soon [.
