Netherlands international Ryan Babel could be on his way out of Premier League side Liverpool as
Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim have expressed an interest in signing the versatile attacker, if a
report in Voetbal International is to be believed.
The Sinsheim side is in the market for attacking reinforcements because of the expected departure
of Demba Ba to West Ham United and sporting director Ernst Tanner supposedly sees Babel as the
perfect replacement.
West Ham have completed the loan signing of Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba
(25).
The Senegalese striker has scored 37 goals in 97 appearances for the German club while also
scoring 2 goals in 9 games for his Country. The Hammers beat off Everton and Sunderland to the
strikers signature.

Liverpool have confirmed that Ryan Babel has agreed a move to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, less
than 24 hours after King Kenny told a press conference that there was no chance of the Dutchman
leaving the club during January.
Hoffenheim had a £6 million bid for Babel accepted last week and, after a few days spent
fluttering his eyelashes across the smokey bar at former club Ajax, the winger is set to travel to
Germany this morning to finalise the deal according to a short statement posted on Liverpool's
official website:
"Ryan Babel has agreed a move to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
